Called in for lunch with a few friends recently. It had been many years since my last visit, and that was when I was a member at the nearby Caldwell Golf Club. Was pleased to see the hotel still in excellent condition, with ample parking facilities. Enjoyed a warm welcome into the lounge by the friendly staff. The lounge was... More

Stayed at this hotel as visiting friends in Glasgow. The rooms are very small and dont expect five star amenities. You can hear everybody in their own rooms. The rooms also were extremely hot. The restaurant is average pub grub and gets very full with locals. The breakfast was quite ample with good choice.

We tried this place for the first time and found it to be excellent. The service was good and food even better, its good value for money and well worth a visit. I will definitely be back.

Recommended by friends so gave it a go. Nice decor and homely feel but Bar meals poor quality and expensive. First and last visit.

I've been to the Uplawmoor Hotel for meals and drinks a number of times with family and friends and the staff are always friendly, with great tasting food and some nice beers on tap. We had a large family meal in the restaurant area this time around and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the excellent service. Will definitely be... More

My wife's birthday [18th March 2014] Lunch. Great tasting food... I had the fish [served on yesterday's newspaper & a wooden platter], my wife had the macaroni & cheese my daughter had the ham salad, and we all thoroughly enjoy my wife's birthday lunch. We plan on coming here again, my wife fancies coming here for high tea. NB. The... More

A cosy fire welcomed us into the Bar area, on a very cold evening. We had a drink there, while considering the great variety of choices offered for dinner, including a 3 course set menu (main of popeseye steak) with a half bottle of wine for £17:95. However, our party of four opted for the a la carte menu, as... More

Bar food in Uplawmoor Hotel has been a favorite of my family for years. A party of 7 of us went here on Friday night and loved it. I had three courses and although the prawn cocktail isnt as good as it used to be, the chicken stack is amazing and the lindor cheesecake is too. I normally get the... More
