We tried this place for the first time and found it to be excellent. The service was good and food even better, its good value for money and well worth a visit. I will definitely be back.

Recommended by friends so gave it a go. Nice decor and homely feel but Bar meals poor quality and expensive. First and last visit.

I've been to the Uplawmoor Hotel for meals and drinks a number of times with family and friends and the staff are always friendly, with great tasting food and some nice beers on tap. We had a large family meal in the restaurant area this time around and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the excellent service. Will definitely be... More

My wife's birthday [18th March 2014] Lunch. Great tasting food... I had the fish [served on yesterday's newspaper & a wooden platter], my wife had the macaroni & cheese my daughter had the ham salad, and we all thoroughly enjoy my wife's birthday lunch. We plan on coming here again, my wife fancies coming here for high tea. NB. The... More

A cosy fire welcomed us into the Bar area, on a very cold evening. We had a drink there, while considering the great variety of choices offered for dinner, including a 3 course set menu (main of popeseye steak) with a half bottle of wine for £17:95. However, our party of four opted for the a la carte menu, as... More

Bar food in Uplawmoor Hotel has been a favorite of my family for years. A party of 7 of us went here on Friday night and loved it. I had three courses and although the prawn cocktail isnt as good as it used to be, the chicken stack is amazing and the lindor cheesecake is too. I normally get the... More

Wee treat for a fabulous Sunday lunch. My partner and I were undecided as the menu featured lots of dishes, in fact we could probably have tried them all! The most efficient young waiter recommended the Sunday roast and we were not disappointed. Very generous portions and cooked to perfection, neither of us could fault it. Desserts were also fab.... We went out for our hogmanay meal to Uplawmoor Hotel. We were piped into the lounge and from there on we enjoyed a memorable evening. The meal was excellent. Service was efficient and friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced and the cabaret after our meal was very enjoyable. This was a great way to see in the new year.

Uplawmoor Hotel proved to be a great venue at which to help a friend celebrate a special birthday. The bar staff were very efficient and friendly, and the excellent celebration buffet provided us with ample choices which were well presented. We stayed overnight in a comfortable bedroom with a spotlessly clean en-suite (complete with what appeared to be new, luxurious... More
