We had the pre Theatre menu, thats me the wife & the lad in his third year at the Uni. We went early (6'ish) because the parent's Megabus train ride back to Lancashire went at 8.10 from Glasgow Central. Absolutely top meal out in Glasgow, and that said we've never been let down taking the boy out in Scotland's grandest... More
dined on a mid November Sunday evening with my wife and daughter, Food was fresh, simple, hot and well served. Will return. Don't know if the £14.5pp menu wasn't available as bill was £75 (with no wine or bar drinks), but didn't grumble as it was very good quality.
I visited the restaurant twice in the past week and found it to be fantastic on both occasions. The food is wonderfully fresh and presented beautifully by staff who are exceptionally attentive and friendly. Any kitchen that has a window which faces a busy main street and where you can see food being cooked is surely proud of its food... More
Booked this on the reviews of trip advisor - we were a little concerned on arrival as the area & outside appearance didn't do justice to the restaurant. The service, table linen, ambience & food were excellent. We ate from the set lunch menu which was such good value, & the food was all lovely.Would definitley recommend.
We managed to stumble cross the Two Fat Ladies after coming out of the Kelvingrove Museum. The food was fabulous and, at £14.50 for two courses, it was great value. Small touches like real napkins on the table and vintage cutlery and crockery made for a different but relaxed experience. The food was really tasty and there was plenty of... More
Friday lunchtime and we were the only customers however we were extremely well provided for. A bottle of chilled water and some bread with oil and balsamic arrived as soon as we were settled comfortably at our table. Glasses of red and white wine were ordered and appeared after a short interval. We both ordered from the set lunch menu... More
I was given a voucher from friends for my birthday and my husband I went. It was a great choice. The food was fantastic, the service excellent and unobtrusive. I would definitely go back again. I had Thai fish cakes and scallops and black pudding and my husband had Cullen skink and chicken wrapped in bacon. Everything was beautifully cooked... More
We had a lovely meal, a great bottle of wine and fantastic service. It was a lovely relaxing evening out for my husband and myself. We will definitely return. Fab!
Booked via 5pm.com after recommendations on TA. Absolutely lives up to the hype. Everyone in the restaurant had clear plates and our whole party had a great day. Have never been before but always hear amazing things about the Mussels.... you must try them! Great day out and brilliant service
