Great Restaurant!

This is not the type of restaurant I would usually visit as I am not much of a fan of seafood, however we recieved a gift voucher from friends and decided to try the restaurant. We were served by a very polite gentleman who tended to our every need. I ordered soup to start and a steak for my main... read more

If you like seafood this is the place to go. Not an extensive menu but what we chose we really enjoyed. The house wine was good, we asked for details as we liked it so much! Good value, but you will probably need to book.

Just happened by here and called in on spec! Welcomed in by Linda and shown to an excellent spot where I could see everything in this little place! The place has such a lot of character even though pretty tiny. I was amazed at the chef managing to put together such amazing food in the tiny little workspace he had... More

Don't know why it took me over 20 yrs to finally visit this famous little restaurant but made amends today and glad I did. Small menu for lunch 5 pm offer but I find that encourages me to try things I wouldn't usually opt for. Goats cheese in filo was great, as was the bread with balsamic vinegar for dipping.... More

Christmas Eve at the Two Fat Ladies - just lovely. We have been before and you get the same friendly welcome and polite service. It is a small and cosy place with a lovely eclectic feel. We had the goats cheese and crab cakes to start followed by salmon wrapped in parma ham and the house fish mixed plate washed... More

This is a very small, cosy restaurant with all the key features for the perfect dining experience. We passed the girl chef as we entered and she coped admirably getting meals out to about 10-12 tables. The waiting staff were excellent, efficient and in no way ingratiating. I had mushroom pate to start followed by a steak. My wife had... More

Had lovely meal here last night for my daughter's graduation . Small, cosy and comfortable inside . We were choosing from the pre-theatre menu which had 3 starters , 3 mains and 2 desserts and cheeseboard . Service and food were both of a very high quality .
