As usual clean tasty friendly & attentive

Food great, exceedingly tasty, excellent menu, friendly smiley staff, who took an interest in our day and what we were ordering. We were conversing in Japanese. But when busy not the easiest place to navigate around and stairway is a nightmare

Not my first time in Ichiban but a review is well overdue. Always friendly service and never had a bad meal. Yesterday I tried the Beef Chilli Ramen with the kimchee broth - the bowl was gargantuan but I didn't leave a drop. With that I had a nice side of my favourite sushi (California Maki) - shared some Gyuniku... More

One of my favorite places to eat in Glasgow. The food is always freshly cooked to order and there's nothing on the menu I haven't enjoyed. The staff are all really friendly and are always willing to get you a fork if you struggle with chopsticks.

Maybe sushi there is not the best, however you have so many other things to choose that everybody will find something for himself.

Food served very quickly. Sides were so good especially the steak wrapped around mushrooms. Sushi was yummy and the chargrilled squid is a must! I had a flora tea which was lovely. A flower grows inside the water which was very pretty plus it tasted nice and refreshing. Friendly staff too. Prices also very good.

If you're rushing to have a quick but delicious Asian meal in the city centre, Ichiban would be a good place to go. The restaurant is one the first floor off Queen's Street in the city centre so you'll need to pay attention to the signage. It is well worth searching for as the food is reasonably priced, tasty and... More

This is my 3rd visit and will be the last. Last 2 times were....so so but this time I couldn't even finish the food. The chicken katsu curry meat was horrible. It was like boiled chicken then deep fried. Texture was soft and squishy. Awful. The curry sauce was tasty but the rice was long grain (not japanese) and very... More

I have come here a few times in the last 10 years and always quick service and always good food. First time ordering sushi here, and the fish really shone through. Too many places overpower the fresh fish flavour but this actually reminded me of the kind of quick and easy sushi I had at the Tokyo docks on a... More
