2nd time in this restaurant in a year and the service, food and atmosphere still the same - fantastic. Recommend the celebration menu for value. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Lovely decor and the food is divine. Ideal present as they sell vouchers.

Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. We choose to eat from the celebration menu. We had a nice cocktail to start then I had vegetable soup as a starter which was delicious, I then had beef for main which was equally good and chocolate fudge cake for dessert with coffee and wine throughout the meal.... We visited Piccolo Mondo on a Saturday afternoon, booked through 5pm and got business lunch and glass of wine for £14.50, excellent value. This was the first time I have been here and it was very nice, there was a group of 9 of us and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, I had the... More

is this the best Italian restaurant in Glasgow? No...that accolade still goes to Don Costano's by some margin. Is this the best value Italian restaurant in Glasgow? Almost certainly. We opted for the celebration menu. On Saturdays this is £60 per couple. For that you get an apperatif, 3 courses, a bottle of wine, a liquer and tea or coffee.... More

I have been previously for lunch so decided to try dinner. Tried the pre theatre meal absolutely perfection cost less than the evening before at a different restaurant which was very average. Service excellent, food excellent all excellent what more can I say.

Upon the recommendation of the hotel, we strolled to Piccolo's. An understated building but great Italian food. Chose the house special for the appetizer and was not disappointed. My husband had the sole and I had the chicken. Both were outstanding. Give it a try and you will not regret it.

This is a really nice Italian restaurant with good decor, good service and, most importantly, good food. They do two courses plus coffee for £15.50 weeknights £17:50 weekends so it also good value. Its on the main Argyle Street but on the opposite side of the train station from the main shopping area so a little out of the way,... More
