This is a really nice Italian restaurant with good decor, good service and, most importantly, good food. They do two courses plus coffee for £15.50 weeknights £17:50 weekends so it also good value. Its on the main Argyle Street but on the opposite side of the train station from the main shopping area so a little out of the way,... More

We spent two evenings there. The food quality, wine list and service was all very good. What was missing for a five was the very crowded setting of the tables.

We were lucky enough to be in a Glasgow for the Commonwealth a Games, what a fabulous city. Whilst travelling between venues my husband spotted this restaurant, the location is great, very close to Central Station. When you enter it is as if you have stepped back in time. I doubt that the decor will have changed since it was... More

During a long drive, we stopped off in Glasgow for a bite to eat, selecting Piccolo Mondo mainly because it was close to the multistory car park where we had parked. From the outset, the restaurant came across as being quite classy - tables were all dressed nicely and the decor tied in with the Italian theme. The lunch menu... More

I eat in this Restaurant at least twice a month, wouldn't go anywhere else, the food, and the service are excellent. The minute you walk in the door you are looked after by the Manager and the waiters. I can highly recommend it.

Everything about this restaurant is 'First Class'. The food is excellent - and the service second to none. You are made to feel very much at home when entering due to the warm welcome from the manager. Would certainly recommend and return if in Glasgow again. Well done to all the staff both in front and behind the scene. A... More

Lovely restaurant!! Great service. Superb food. We didn't get a single dish that was less than great. A bit pricey, but worth the price!!

We booked this restaurant last minute on Saturday night having been let down by another restaurant, this was for 7 people and they really did bend over backwards to accommodate us, it was a fantastic how they helped, added to this was the brilliant service when we arrived, excellent food and just a great feeling of being welcome, thank you... Have visited this restaurant and food is always lovely. On recent visit was every bit as nice as usual. The service is always very attentive and polite. The Carpaccio is delicious as a starter for two go share. I had fillet steak with pepper sauce which was melt in mouth material. Hubby had pasta ragu which was very tasty big... More

I was in glasgow on business recently and a colleague had recommended another restaurant. I wanted italian, as i had been in verona recently and was still hankering for the food. I walked past piccolo mondo and thought perfect! And it was. There was a lovely lively atmosphere about the place and i had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. And reasonably... More
