Oreo vegan cheesecake!

I was in Glasgow for only a few days but ate at Mono three times! As a vegan, it's rare to find 100% vegan places. I had the seitan burger on two occasions as it was so delicious. I also had the Vietnamese Pho on the third visit and it was wholesome, filling and full of flavour. I found the... read more

Have been wanting to try out Mono for a while & finally got to go on Sunday there. I had planned on getting the pizza as it's rare to find vegan cheese when eating out but opted for the seitan burger as it sounded so good. I'm not a big burger person but this may just have been the best... More

The entire menu is vegan and it's varied and interesting - [tofu] fish and chips, pho, portobello mushroom burger. You can sit there for a few hours, using the wifi and ordering drinks and food, and they don't mind. Great staff. I always try to come here when I'm in Glasgow.

I love the relaxed, almost bohemian feel to Mono and it is a great place for meeting friends or for having business meetings in a relaxed environment. Food is always of a very high quality and very good value for money. With the record store next door it is a real haven for music fans! Consistently excellent!

Mono had great reviews so we planned a visit on our trip to Glasgow. It is a little bit away from the main city centre but the walk was totally worth it. Very relaxed, so not the place to go when you are in a hurry. I had one of the special pizzas and wow, it was good. Gave me... More

Mono is part of a group of vegetarian / vegan restaurants and cafes in Glasgow along with Stereo and the 78 which I have already reviewed. Mono is an unusual location, but once inside it has a great atmosphere. If you want quick service, this is not the place for you, but the laid back service was just what we... More

I was very impressed with Mono. I have been vegetarian for a while but had never been to a completely vegetarian place before so was very happy when I found mono. I had soup and a refried bean wrap. Was great for a quick lunch. Staff were friendly but perhaps slightly slow at serving. Would definitely go back to try... More

Love the great choice of food, lovely ambience, service can be really slow but for me that is a bonus, that they do not rush you, you can easily spend the night there and chill. It is lovely as a vegetarian to be able to choose anything off the menu

As a lifetime carnivor, visiting Mono was definitely something different for me. My partner was a vegetarian previously and knew of the place, suggested we visit, and I was pleasantly surprised. Waking into the restaurant, it looked lacking. The kind of place you wouldn't know existed unless you knew it was there, and could definitely use a link of paint,... More

Great menu with the worst thing being what to choose from the many simple but great and tasty dishes! no matter what you choose ALWAYS leave room for the delicious fresh baked cake after. I would also recommend trying the refreshing micro brewed refreshments Great fresh food, friendly staff and chilled out welcoming atmosphere. Definitely one of THE must try... More
