Food & Music: Perfect!

First introduced to Mono a few months ago by a friend, we were delighted to find our hotel on this visit was just round the corner. We were lucky to get in early on a Saturday afternoon when the service was still decent, and I don't mind waiting a little while for food when there is an in-house... read more

I was surprised by the quality of food here, it was thoroughly delicious. I had the most moreish nachos ever and chocolate orange cake with ice cream. It was fabulous. They do a great selection of Teas as well.

Visited with friend on a Saturday night. We both had the burger option. It would have been very bland and dry without the sauces we added. Chips were good tho :o) Decor rather tired with plaster on the walls pealing due to water damage. The toilets are very much in need of some repairs. Good mix of people in the... More

Visited Mono on Friday night. I loved the menu: so many interesting vegan options! Me and my friend shared pizza and burger, both were really lovely. Wine was really good as well. What I liked the most was combination of healthy vegan food, lively atmosphere and good vibes. Staff was knowledgeable & friendly and the service was fast. Also prices... More

Shabby chic bohemian type cafe plus record shop and gig venue. Interesting vegan food. Just round corner from 103 Trongate and cross 2 streets, its on your left.

This is a must visit for vegans in Glasgow, but has also got rave reviews from my non vegan/veggie friends. They have a wide range of options and regularly host gigs for local and touring bands. The restaurant has a separate gluten free menu which is especially helpful to people with coeliacs.

Went here on my own during the week of an afternoon. Greeted and shown to my table. Service was infrequent, I had to get the attention of staff several times to order anything. I was left in periods of 15/20 minutes. The food took an hour and fifteen minutes to come for two courses during a non busy Tuesday afternoon.... More

Dinner on a Saturday night. Busy as to be expected, and no reservation so waited at the bar, which was not a problem. Service at the bar itself extremely slow, and had to wait for a long time before being allowed to sit down at a table which had been empty for a good 10-15 minutes. Service upon ordering was... Came here for dinner and drinks. The place itself is really cute and cosy. I sat at a bench at the back. The menu was fabulous - tofu and chips, vegan pho, bahn mi baguettes, oreo cheesecake, nachos, cajun seasoned chips, and much more! Their selection of drinks are all vegan friendly and it was a good selection. Got a... More

I always grab a bite to eat at Mono whenever visiting Glasgow. At one point they seemed to be the only veggie option in town but all that's changed now. Mono is still as reliable as ever though. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, local beers and a decent record shop on the side. Heaven for me. The veggie burger I had... More
