I spent a pleasant evening with old friends I hadn't seen for many years over some delicious food and a lovely bottle of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. I had know of this restaurant for a while and regret not having made acquaintance before now.The staff were friendly, well-informed and attentive, though not overly so.

Fanny's is one of the best restaurants for excellent food and great service. Its also great value for money with the food as good as the top restaurants in Glasgow.

Booked for a pretheatre meal with friends on a recommendation and was unsure what to expect. Very friendly staff greeted us on our arrival. The restaurant became busy very quickly with all tables full. The service was excellent and staff were courteous at all times despite being full. The food was well presented and every plate was delicious. It is... More

I found the restaurant on trip advisor and booked it because if the reviews and quirky name! Trip advisor has not let me down! Fabulous food, excellent atmosphere and super friendly service. My boyfriend had the beef and I had the vegetarian curry, both thoroughly recommended. !

Excellent service, well cooked and tasty food which was reasonably priced. No children's menu but they were happy to make smaller portions of the main menu, which was great as it meant our son got to try the same food as us

Ate here in August 2014 having been away for about 2 years. The food was better than I rememebered. Every starter we had on the small, but excellently put together, menu was fabulous, especially the smoked salmon. The mains were also excellent, the steak with roquefort was the best steak I have eaten outside of Argentina. The sea bass was... More

Went here on Friday 8th Aug for a meal with my husband, what can I say, lovely food, had the pulled pork and blackpudding salad to start followed by the steak which was cooked to perfection and finished with the sticky toffee pudding. Just fab... the staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing was a bother, will definitely be... More

We popped in here tonight without a booking and were lucky enough to get a table. What a great place to eat my starter was Pave of duck which was delicious, followed by shin of beef and that melted in the mouth. Well worth a visit and probably wise to book. Staff and service also excellent.

Well in advance we've made reservations on our stopover in Glasgow and we were glad we did. It's a nice, little cozy restaurant with a menu full of local fresh produce at a reasonable price. The welcome was friendly and the staff did their best to make everyone enjoy their dinner. The Inverlochy smoked salmon, Atlantic crab, shellfish oil &... More
