My family and I attended Fanny Trollopes last night for a birthday dinner. Being the organised bunch we are, all 8 of us had perused the menu online, however on arriving at the restaurant, the menu had changed. Nonetheless, the very helpful waiter and chefs made us the dishes we had originally picked from the web menu with no fuss,... More

Food was good I can't deny this, however £8 corkage for BYB is rediculously expensive! Moreover it was my friends birthday and we brought a cake along with us-we were told that if we ate the cake there would be a £10 fee! I have eaten in many restaurants and never have I EVER heard of there being a charge... More

I went to Fanny Trollope's for the first time last night with my boyfriend. The staff were amazing considering how busy they were! Both were very polite and efficient and very friendly. We shared the pate to start which was light and fluffy. The waiter even gave us a bit of extra bread which was very thoughtful. I had wood... More

First time at Fanny Trollope's..cant say it was anything to write home about as I've had nicer meals out for a lot less money...its pretty expensive for what you get. Don't get me wrong the food was nice enough but I was just looking forward to something really special considering all the excellent reviews. I felt the portion sizes were... More

Visited this restaurant after purchasing a deal on a voucher website. Incredible food and fantastic value. Had beef with a broth and mustard mash for main and it is among some of the nicest mains I've ever had. Really small and cosy restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Will 100% be returning. Excellent place to visit if you're entertaining guests.

I went to this restaurant in March 2014 following a friend's suggestion. Agreeable location, good food and drink, and kind people. Worthwhile price too. I will certainly return on my next trip to Glasgow.

Within walking distance of our B&B, the Alamo Guest House. Very good food and service. Very busy so recommend reservations. Scottish food on the menu.

Looking for a nice restaurant for a meal before Rod Stewart concert in the SECC Hydro, my wife and I tried Fanny Trollope. Didn't have table booked but just timed it just right and staff went out of their way to get us a table. Really warm and genuine welcome from staff. Meal was first class and atmosphere excellent.
