Description: India Quay is a trendy, contemporary space amidst the hustle and bustle of Glasgow. A traditional Indian welcome awaits you at India Quay, where you will find a restaurant that triumphantly pairs traditional Indian cuisine with ‘urban chic’.Adjacent to the newly redeveloped Finnieston area, and only a short walking distance of the SECC and Clyde Auditorium, India Quay overlooks the banks of the River Clyde, providing awe-inspiring views of the city’s famous Finnieston Crane, ‘Squinty Bridge’ and new Hydro Arena in the distance.India Quay’s menu is made up of long-established Indian favourites, but we do have a few surprises up our sleeve. Order the delicious Lamb Desi or Cheese, Chilli, and Coriander Naan Bread to see what we mean. The restaurant’s stark black and white interior oozes with understated style, though dashes of flamboyance accentuate the space. It’s the little details that make India Quay’s individuality stand out above the rest.

Spotless modern Indian Restaurant. Great service and quality food. Not overpriced. Excellent location if you are heading for SECC. A fair walk from Central station, but nice if weather is good.

Visited as part of our tastecard promotion and was a quiet night at the restaurant. Plenty of space for parties as there is a level above also. Ordered chicken pakora for starters which was out within minutes and did not disappoint. Next was Chicken Tikka Grill which was delicious and is my new favourite. Mentioned to my partner that this... We were up in Glasgow for a conference at the science centre. This restaurant was recommended by a colleague. I went there with 3 of my colleagues and we decided to go for the buffet option upstairs. There was a decent selection of items in the buffet and all the items I tried were fresh and tasty. The server we... More

Tasty, but not overly spicy, Indian fare. Relaxing restaurant with modern seating, a bit noisy and a little pricey.

Having visited quite a few Indian restaurants, I have only experienced such a huge satisfaction just in one place - India Quay. Every little thing here is absolutelly wonderful! Huge variety of authentic Indian dishes, all fresh and full in taste, always delivered to the table by smilling and cheerful staff. I've been there quite a few times - by... More

This is the latest of many visits to this fantastic restaurant and it never fails. It is really well decorated and maintained and the staff are perfect. Quite a few of the staff have been there for a long time and are very good at remembering repeat customers and are very friendly. The pints of Kingfisher are particularly good and... More

Really good buffet style lunch here. Just what was needed after a long walk from the city centre. Very clean and well furnished restaurant. Attentive staff and well cooked, tasty food. Will certainly go there again, next time I am in Glasgow

Everytime i have been to India Quay, it has left me feeling great. This time a voucher bought for us, took my wife for an anniversary meal to the restaurant. We ordered the fish pakora as starters to share which was delicious. Our mains masala and rogan gosht were also fantastic. The staff are brilliant and refreshing. Really a nice... More

My husband and I have stayed a few times in the hotel across the road from the India Quay and have always said we would try it. Well, this time we did and, boy, did we wish we had done it earlier. A real gem. Absolutely fabulous. The best Indian meal we have ever had (and we have had a... More
