Description: India Quay is a trendy, contemporary space amidst the hustle and bustle of Glasgow. A traditional Indian welcome awaits you at India Quay, where you will find a restaurant that triumphantly pairs traditional Indian cuisine with ‘urban chic’.Adjacent to the newly redeveloped Finnieston area, and only a short walking distance of the SECC and Clyde Auditorium, India Quay overlooks the banks of the River Clyde, providing awe-inspiring views of the city’s famous Finnieston Crane, ‘Squinty Bridge’ and new Hydro Arena in the distance.India Quay’s menu is made up of long-established Indian favourites, but we do have a few surprises up our sleeve. Order the delicious Lamb Desi or Cheese, Chilli, and Coriander Naan Bread to see what we mean. The restaurant’s stark black and white interior oozes with understated style, though dashes of flamboyance accentuate the space. It’s the little details that make India Quay’s individuality stand out above the rest.

Had a fantastic meal at India Quay last Saturday, this was a late booking and luckily they could fit us in. The menu is not the largest but the selections are first class, the starter platter to share is well worth the visit on its own, I had a simple Tikka Masala which was very good. Looking forward to our... More

We visited during the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the food service and price were all excellent. We had the lunchtime buffet (we arrived as it was about to start serving) and the food was superb. We have poppadums, starters choice of 4 mains, rice and chapati all for £9.50! We are very fussy regarding curries and this place was top... More

I have eaten here a few times, so finally decided to write my review.i usually don't enjoy eating indian food but this is top quality. The restaurant is very spacious, extremely neat (which i love), situated in a very nice location and the food is really really nice, i highly recommend this restaurant to indian food lovers.

Visited Glasgow last week and et up with family at the Indian Quay, the service from all staff was first class they could not do enough for us and very atentative without being intrusive, there was a large family gathering next to us with young children and we witnessed the staff again attending to the children and adults alike in... We ate here after a Commonwealth Games event. The place is quite spacious and modern, the service was courteous and efficient. I had a paneer tikka dish, one of several interesting vegetarian options, and it was delicious. My wife had a prawn puri that she described as one of the best she had ever eaten.

This restaurant is situated at the junction at the 'Squinty Bridge' so is very handy for the SECC, Pacific Quay etc. Service was very efficient and the waiting staff friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very busy throughout the recent Commonwealth Games but was quieter once the festivities were over. Although there were not many customers a comprehensive buffet was... More

I Can't really fault this restaurant. Friends and I were there before a gig at the SSE Hydro. The place is Airy and bright inside, the decor very modern compared to most Indian restaurants in Glasgow. The menu is comprehensive, and easily understood. The staff are very smiley but work very fast at getting orders, food and drinks to us,... More

This trendy India restaurant opposite the SECC is excellent for popping into to get "street food" which is a novel idea for them during the Commonwealth games. We had chicken pakora and veg pakora, drinks and dips. All freshly cooked and scalding hot! Delicious food and in a clean, friendly environment. Toilets lovely! The rest of the normal menu is... OK, the Commonwealth Games are on and they seemed to struggle on Friday lunch time. Decided on the buffet, which was a bad move. Not a good selection and it seemed to have been there some time. The telling factor was that I spent quite a bit of time in the toilet rather than watching the weightlifting!!! Not impressed, will... More
