Description: India Quay is a trendy, contemporary space amidst the hustle and bustle of Glasgow. A traditional Indian welcome awaits you at India Quay, where you will find a restaurant that triumphantly pairs traditional Indian cuisine with ‘urban chic’.Adjacent to the newly redeveloped Finnieston area, and only a short walking distance of the SECC and Clyde Auditorium, India Quay overlooks the banks of the River Clyde, providing awe-inspiring views of the city’s famous Finnieston Crane, ‘Squinty Bridge’ and new Hydro Arena in the distance.India Quay’s menu is made up of long-established Indian favourites, but we do have a few surprises up our sleeve. Order the delicious Lamb Desi or Cheese, Chilli, and Coriander Naan Bread to see what we mean. The restaurant’s stark black and white interior oozes with understated style, though dashes of flamboyance accentuate the space. It’s the little details that make India Quay’s individuality stand out above the rest.

I ordered a chicken tikka main meal, garlic nan and popadoms to take away - at over £17 I had high expectations, as this is more expensive than many of the other (better) Indians in the area. I was left unimpressed; the curry sauce was frankly tasteless, thin and watery. The chicken was rubbery and unappealing. The most enjoyable part... More

Dined at the India Quay before attending the Hydro. The location is ideal for the SECC, walking distance. We were a group of four, had pre booked and on arrival the table was ready although we were early. Attentive servers who allowed plenty of time to peruse the menu. We shared two sharing platters, one mixed pakora the other tandoori,... More

Visited this place after a trip to SECC. Must say I was pleasantly surprised. We had no booking but the manager did his best to accommodate us. Staff were very attentive. The food was fantastic. Sharing starter was amazing and like wise so were the mains. Every where was very clean and the place was very welcoming with a lovely... More

This was our second trip to this restaurant for the buffet as we really enjoyed our first visit. On a positive note the staff are really friendly and eager to please and soft drinks aren't ovely expensive. The starters were reasonable but unfortunately the main courses were pretty harsh with no less spicy options - for example korma or chasni.... More

We are lucky enough to have this as our local Indian to eat in and takeaway. Service is always prompt and friendly and the peshwari naan is to die for!

We were all off to the Panto at the Armadillo(SECC) so thought we would try this Indian Buffet. There were 12 of us. We had eaten in Clyde Built last year and that wasn't great. I'm afraid this place wasn't a lot better. It's a lovely dinning room and would be great in the summer, but it felt a bit... More
