I've stopped by to quickly doff my cap to this fantastic restaurant that I have been going to since I was very young. Well, having been a customer for nigh on 30 years of the Shish Mahal in the West End of Glasgow, I was delighted to learn that they have opened a takeaway in the south side of Glasgow on Clarkston Road and much closer to my home. The owners of the Shish make much of their 3 generations of the same... more
Very good curries and extremely helpful and attentive staff, even though the place was fully booked. It was recommended to us by our hotel staff who was also kind enough to make a reservation. And that is absolutely necessary, at least on weekends. more
Tacky sign but really nice food, some interesting things on the menu. We keep going back. more

The food was very good, although my prawns were a tad overcooked, but the taste was still great. The service was excellent. Highly recommended. more
