1st time I've been here, was well impressed. Staff helped a lot to explain the menu. Great starters and mains. Would defo go back again.
We visited on a Thursday night when it wasn't very busy. There was a large table of around 12 people who seemed to be the focus of the two waiters. We made eye contact several times hoping that we could order more drinks. We waited around 20 mins and by the time the waiter came over, we decided to ask... More
I love these two restaurants, the Dakhin, and it's North Indian sister restaurant across the road, but for me the Dakhin is still my favorite. Its easily my favorite restaurant ANYWHERE, never mind just in Glasgow, or in the Curry category alone! Come with an open mind, as its not just your usual "chicken tikka masala and a naan bread"... Another concert, another early dinner, but where to go? The reviews for the Dahkin were so good we decided to try it. Almost empty at 5.30pm we were served quickly, even though it took ages to choose. If you are not used to S Indian food it might we worth doing a bit of homework so you don't miss out... More
We knew we would be in Glasgow today and decided to check out reviews as we wanted some Indian cuisine and we were not disappointed. Fortunately we got parked outside and met the owner who told us that we could park on a Sunday after 6 and not be bothered, which was great as we drove around three times earlier... More

Our starter (arambha kuttam) comprised a mixed selection of fish, chicken, lamb and vegetable pakoras - truly delicious though the pakoras would have been enhanced with the addition of a dipping sauce. The mains included a very delicious curry of chicken... More
Fantastic South-Indian food, staff very friendly and helpful, even with my enquiries about vegan friendly options. Definitely one of my favourite places to eat in Glasgow.
Been to the Dakhin on a number of occasions. The food is superb and the service is excellent. The food is good quality and quantity and love the dosa. We ordered two starters which was a mistake as I then could not finish my main course. If you are looking for something different then this is the place to go.... More

We were given a table at the window looking down onto the street below. Food was good, nice and fresh with good portion sizes. Starter was the fish which... More
