Lovely restaurant. great food and exemplary customer service

My sister and I went to Dragon-I on Wednesday 24th July before heading to the Theatre Royal for a show. i had lunch in this restaurant before a visit to the theatre. The welcome was warm and service excellent. A two course lunch for £7.95 is the real deal and it just could not be faulted. There is an excellent choice to suit all tastes. The restaurant is bright and airy with well spaced tables.

I have been dining at Dragon-i for many years now and should have reviewed it before. I have been here for lunch, pre-theatre, evening meal treat with friends or as a couple and every time it does not dissappoint. It is not often that you are recognised for your repeat business in restaurants and I really appreciate the warm greetings... More

We booked a table for after a show at the Theatre Royal (across the road) however the show ran on later than we thought. The restaurant kept our table and we had just a main course as it was a bit late. I had the sea bass which was beautifully presented and a delicious plate of food. My wife had... More

I visited on Friday, it wasn't great. The service could have been better. We had the duck pancakes to start, it was well presented however the duck was very dry. My main course was lovely, the dessert wasn't anything wonderful. We have visited previously but after this experience I wont be rushing back.

To use a word to best describe the experience I had with my mother at Dragon-i is not a burdensome task; the word that circulates round my head is AVERAGE. The food was pleasant, unchallenging, though not delicious. AVERAGE. The waitresses seemed nice; though perhaps too attentive, like they were bored. AVERAGE. Even the toilet facilities were AVERAGE. AVERAGE.

The service was fast and the food hot and freshly made. The chicken noodle soup for starters was lovely. Then we had chicken with mango, and a chicken woth malaysian curry sauce. Both dishes were very... More

We have dined here many times and it never disappoints. The restaurant has changed hands, but the food is superb, a perfect fusion of the Orient with a flavour of Scotland. Staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. If you haven't dined here......you are missing out on one of Glasgow's best.

Had lunch here with my Daughter, this was her first time to Dragon-i, I have been several times before, never disappointed with the service or the food. Delicious. Very pleasant staff, they are so friendly and attentive.
