A very late post for a brilliant xmas dinner had in November/December. We often pop in for dinner at the cabin and are loyal customers from when James first "ran the joint" We were so glad when we heard he was back and my goodness has he lived up to his good name! We had an absolute amazing meal AGAIN!... More

Visited tonight for the first time but had heard a lot of good reviews over the years. Food was average. Wrong soup was brought (no apology that it had changed), long delay in taking orders and getting drinks. Only 1 waiter who was extremely busy. Run out of the wine from Lidl and they had to go out and get... More

First time in the cabin and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Family get together. Food, atmosphere, service second to none. Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Staff member even made a specially requested Irish coffee with no problem. Would definitely return.

I'm a little late with this review so apologies to The Cabin!! My family had Xmas dinner in this wonderful little restaurant and we stayed a lot longer than we actually intended as the food, ambience and entertainment were all first class. The food was served in a timely manner, even though the staff were rushed off their feet and... More

All I want to say is,,, why would any restaurant sell diners wine from budget store LIDL and charge crazy prices for it? It costs£3.99 a bottle in that store. It doesn't even taste nice

Very disappointed with our visit to the Cabin. Food at best was average and despite having 3 courses we all left feeling hungry. 3 prawns for a starter and my beef was overcooked. Having previously been before for the lobster offer which was fabulous this visit left us feeling dissatisfied.

I visited this restaurant today for our office Christmas lunch. I had heard great things about it and was definitely not disappointed. The food was fantastic and very well priced. My colleagues and I will definitely be recommending. The restaurant is small but cosy You do need to book but it will be worth it

This was my first visit to The Cabin I was surprised at how small and cosy it was, the chef/owner was very friendly and due to us booking an early dinner he personally took our orders and served us, my partner had the pate starter followed by beef Wellington, I had tempura prawns and Venison for main meal, both starters...
