Went to this restaurant at the weekend as a treat,my usual weekend meal is a wetherspoons, but to be honest I would have preferred a wetherspoons. It was very busy when we went in through the dark curtain? The waiter came up to us asked us our name and pointed to a table, and left us,no can I take your coat... More

Credit where credit is due. After a long phone call during which I threw all my toys out the pram, Roastit's finally agreed to let my parents and me bring their Guide Dog Assoc puppy into the restaurant. They're not legally obliged to do so, as it's still in training, but in reality I've never had anyone say no before.... More

I've always rated Roastit's as 5 star, however, on a recent visit their once perfect standards had definitely slipped. The food portions were smaller, the wine wasn't chilled and the staff clearly weren't bothered whether we had chosen Roastit's or not. The quality of food was still top notch so I will be back but maybe for just one more... More

We were staying at a hotel about 15 minutes away and we were"t inspired to eat there. Did some searching on TripAdvisor and this one appealed. Very friendly reception and the food proved to be very good and reasonably priced.

4 of us had a great meal and evening out. The menu range was very good and the food was excellent. Portions were just right to comfortably eat 3 courses without feeling bloated. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, excellent service, friendly engaging server. Would recommend it highly.

Our last minute decision to go out for dinner last night meant we didn't want anywhere too fancy just good food. This great wee place hit the mark. First visit on basis of TA reviews and it won't be our last. Chose from their Market menu (2 courses £14) which had a good selection. We both had the Roast Beef... More

A very pleasant dinner with friends on Easter Sunday but service was a bit hit and miss. Staff were very friendly and welcoming but the rather quiet evening seemed to cause them to take their collective eye off the ball and we were left for quite long periods in between courses, particularly between the main course and dessert. Food was... More
