The Mussel Inn is one of Glasgow’s première restaurants. Despite the name, our restaurant offers a much wider variety of food than just Scottish West Coast mussels served with our unique and delicious range of sauces. Our seafood dishes also include Creamy Seafood Chowder, Grilled King Scallops and Queen Scallops, Scottish oysters, and our amazing seafood platter (Mini Seafood Platter also available).

Brilliant food, great atmosphere, lovely staff

My colleagues and I visited the Mussel Inn for the first time on 27th Aug for dinner. The staff were attentive and happy to help; the food came quickly but not too quickly; and the food standard was second to none. I genuinly can't remember the last time I had such a delicious meal (King Prawn... read more

My family took me to the Mussel Inn to celebrate my birthday tonight. It was wonderful the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. After having had a lovely meal of some of Scotland's finest seafood, the staff brought out a dessert platter with a Birthday candle on the cheesecake, and sung Happy Birthday it was wonderful and made an already... Favourite lunch spot in Glasgow, eat here at least once a month as the lunch deal is excellent and can have mussels with a choice of sauces and salad or chips with a drink for £7.50. Food and service always excellent.

Centrally located, bright, spacious and plenty staff. There were three couples and one 7 year old in our group. Greeted, seated and offered drinks on arrival. Spacious table varied menu's but not for fussy children as no childs menu. 3 of our group went for prawns with maria sauce, came in shells, large portion on plate with small dipping dish... More

We were out for a Birthday treat for my Son, we waited 3/4 hour before our meal came. My son ordered a seafood platter, he felt it was a bit skimped For £25.99p and not up to their usual standards, the mussels were very small and looked as if they were cooked too long. I had the chowder(it was okay)... More

This restaurant is hard to find as theres no fancy light or a neon lobster in the window to help guide your way, looks more like a city centre book store from the outside. Thank god for Google maps. I came to this restaurant about 5 or 6 years ago and the sea food platter was to die for, this... More

Before travelling to Glasgow, I had researched places to eat which would be accessible for me as a gluten-sensitive traveller. The Mussel Inn was indeed a treat! As a solo traveller, I ordered a 1/2 kilo of their shallot and cream mussels and a side house salad. A perfect amount! The side salad nicely offset the mussels, which were superb!... More
