Description: The Mussel Inn is one of Glasgow’s première restaurants. Despite the name, our restaurant offers a much wider variety of food than just Scottish West Coast mussels served with our unique and delicious range of sauces. Our seafood dishes also include Creamy Seafood Chowder, Grilled King Scallops and Queen Scallops, Scottish oysters, and our amazing seafood platter (Mini Seafood Platter also available).

There were four of us and we had a very good meal here - the overall experience was really hard to fault - hence the 5 rating. The mussels were superb, the fish dishes equally good and he puddings didn't disappoint. The service was good throughout and the big plus was that we thought the prices were very reasonable, with... I have eaten here twice in the last month. Its great for dinner in the evening or lunch. There is a good atmosphere and sea food is great. The value is good for a city centre and the lunch time menu is particularly good value with a main, beer / wine and bread for £8. The mussels with chips were... More

Had a really pleasant meal - unsurprisingly with a lot of mussels. The food was very good and not too expensive - as was the wine. The staff were bright and friendly - and helpful with tips about places to go as we were just visiting Glasgow. I will definitely go again when I'm next in Glasgow

This is my favourite seafood restaurant. Dined here for my birthday the past 2 years. Staff are friendly, efficient with quick service. The food is amazing. I highly recommend the mussels. Good deals available @ lunch time but the a La carte isn't too pricey. We paid £7.50 for 1 course + a glass of wine. Excellent value. Will continue... More

The best thing about the Mussel Inn is the service and the employees. They are engaged and work hard to create a good experience. The decor is modern, minimalist and barely a level above canteen. Food was OK but nothing special. Good if you need a fix of shell fish.

Tuesday evening at eight o'clock - very quiet, only a dozen other diners. Greeted by pleasant helpful staff. Starters of haggis bonbons!!! - her indoors enthused over them whilst I had grilled mussels. Main courses of seafood pasta for me and crab pasta for wife. Both excellent with plenty of seafood in the dishes. Coffee, wine and pre dinner drinks... More

Mussel Inn is one my my favourite seafood restaurants in Glasgow. I've been coming here for over 5 years now. I usually attend at lunchtime: they do an excellent lunch menu which comes highly recommended. My favourite is the mussels in blue cheese sauce.....yum!

Was recommended to visit here by my manager. Rang up and reserved a table an hour before we arrived. We ordered oysters mussels and scallops along with the seafood linguine. Each dish was superb and massive on flavour. Staff were attentive and very friendly. One of the male staff members in particular was delightful and recommended bars for us to... More

Whilst in Glasgow we decided to try the Mussel Inn following a good report in one of the travel books. It is apparently popular so phone or Internet bookings are best. The service was fine, friendly and efficient and the menu looked good – obviously with an emphasis on mussels but also serving oysters and other seafood. We found the... More

We all had the Mussels (obviously), as well as Prawns, Haggis, and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Everything was delicious, fresh, and had an updated feel to the plates. Very reasonably priced menu, and a fun atmosphere makes Mussel Inn my favorite restaurant in Glasgow.
