Description: The Mussel Inn is one of Glasgow’s première restaurants. Despite the name, our restaurant offers a much wider variety of food than just Scottish West Coast mussels served with our unique and delicious range of sauces. Our seafood dishes also include Creamy Seafood Chowder, Grilled King Scallops and Queen Scallops, Scottish oysters, and our amazing seafood platter (Mini Seafood Platter also available).

Came here on the busiest night of the glasgow games- they found us a table even though we hadn't booked. Laid back friendly service and menu was short but good. 3 course meal for 2 including bottle of wine was £65 so fairly mid range price wise. Would recommend!

Only 5 minutes walk west from George Square this is recommended for anyone who likes fish and is looking for good tasty food at reasonable prices. We had the speedy lunch menu of mussels, drink and chips or salad which for under £8 was excellent value. Service was efficient rather than friendly but good enough to ensure we will be... More

Lovely fresh fish with a good variety on the menu. Cooked really well and portion sizes just right. Friendly service and no silly prices. Will definitely go back.

I went to this restaurant b/c of Rick's Great Britain's travel book. I was alone in Glasgow for a few days and decided to go. I sat near the front so got to people watch as I enjoyed the most amazing half kilo of mussels and a glass of wine. By watching 2 'locals' I discovered the right way to... More

Our friend recommended this restaurant as we were visiting Glasgow. We had the pre-theatre dinner meal on a Friday evening. I had smoke salmon spring rolls as starter and mussels in blue cheese sauce as main. The mussels were fresh and juicy, and I really like the sauce (if you like strong cheese). They had a few different sauces to... More

Very recommended for seafood lovers (but only for those). You'll get half a kilo of mussels for roundabout £7 in five different sauces to choose from. Staff was very friendly and quick.

Nice airy, arty restaurant in Central Glasgow. Good value 2 course dinner if you order early( before 1830h, I think). Wine list with some good choices, efficient service with a smile. We were a group of 10 and half the meals were very good and half a little better than average, hence the score.

Popped in for a late lunch while out shopping last Saturday. Got a good sized bucket of fresh mussels, bread and butter, hot chips and a glass of wine for under £8. Really good value and set us up for the rest of the day's shopping.

Great fresh seafood. I had the moroccan mussels which were great. Oysters were fresh and good variety of food.
