Description: The Mussel Inn is one of Glasgow’s première restaurants. Despite the name, our restaurant offers a much wider variety of food than just Scottish West Coast mussels served with our unique and delicious range of sauces. Our seafood dishes also include Creamy Seafood Chowder, Grilled King Scallops and Queen Scallops, Scottish oysters, and our amazing seafood platter (Mini Seafood Platter also available).

Great little restaurant. Not very plush, would possibly walk by after looking in the window...That would be a mistake. Fabulous menu....wanted to try so many things. Settled for Scallops starter whilst my husband had the Piri piri flavoured Tiger Prawns. I had Mussels in Moroccan Spices for Main and Hubby chose Seafood Pasta.Bread basket was complimentary too. All dishes were... More

A lovely restaurant where service was excellent. The simple menu gave ample choice and offered good scottish food; well cooked and presented at a very reasonable cost. However, the seafood chowder was exceptional - would go back there every day for that if only I could!

Steamed mussels with the flavourings added afterwards in my opinion as there was very little salt in the dish. OK if you are on a low salt diet but very little taste of the sea and quite impersonal and bland - but it was the centre of Glasgow, miles from where it really happens. Anodyne.

No other word for this place. Stayed in Glasgow with my mum for a girls weekend away. We have both been here before years ago and it was as good as we remembered then. The food is out of this world, and very good priced. I started with chowder and followed with the hot seafood platter, whilst my mum had... More

Very busy every evening. Pop in without reservation, then made a reservation come back after 90mins. Worth every wait, been ages not have cold water seafood, we live in Malaysia. Most seafood is tropical. Food was great. Mussels was succulent. Service was prompt. After all these years, still standing strong.
