Description: "In the lively, bohemian Port of Leith, Malmaison Brasserie reigns supreme as a superlative place to meet and eat. The highly chic Art Nouveau French brasserie has sleek, stylish decor and actual port views. The staff are passionate about food, wine and service, and the dining room is lit with that brasserie buzz. Malmaison Executive Chef, Roy Brett has overall direction. What's cooking? Inspiration is taken from great 'French brasserie-style dishes' and further enhanced with a unique contemporary twist. Dishes include char-grilled ribeye with cafe de paris butter and fine beans and salmon fishcake with parsley sauce and buttered spinach. For those of you with a sweet tooth, be sure to try the tarte tartin with creme chantilly. "

For the princely sum of £20 per head we were treated to a tapas/anti pasti style buffet for starters, waffles bacon and maple syrup for seconds, soup for thirds, roast beaf or chicken and veg for 4ths and the killer puddings to finally finish you off. We were also asked if we would like to visit the buffet for some... More

So let me start this by being clear.... I love a Sunday Brunch! We arrived slightly early for our booking but that wasn't a problem, we were shown to a table where the waitress checked we were happy or if we would rather a different area…. We moved just because we could really! We then had a beautiful semi-private table... More

Lunch today in the Brasserie and one of the most enjoyable I've had in Glasgow. All three courses were delicious, especially the sampler dessert, a wee bit of everything so no will I won't I decision. The kitchen staff are skilled presenting well prepared and seasoned food. The young lady who served at our table was one of the best... More

Fantastic food and service. Easy to reach as so close to M8. Sunday lunch is amazing and incredibly reasonably priced at £19.95. Am recommending to all my family and friends. So good that we ate there 2 Sundays in a row!

Booked through 5pm .com . Six of girls were shown to our private room instead of having seats in the main restaurant which was fab as we laughed and talked to our hearts contend. Had a mixture of soups or pate to start with and the buffet table is to die for ( selection of meats,salads,olives..) as well as a... More

We booked through 5pm.co.uk for a romantic Saturday night meal and we were not disappointed. The chicken parfait and goats cheese salad to start were both delicious, I then had the salmon, which could have done with some lemon on the side as part of the meal as it felt slightly undercooked while my partner had chicken. Service was fabulous,... More

Arranged to meet our daughter in Glasgow & The Malmaison had been recommended by a friend. It did not disappoint! Service attentive, helpful & knowledgable about their food & cocktails. The food was well presented with great imagination. We had to start the tuna tartare with advocado mousse, the chicken liver parfait & the soup of the day followed by... More

We had lunch here before the rugby final for rwick commonwealth games. It really is the biggest lunch in town - buffet style starters lots of salads, fish and meat, you can have a salad made for you - chef did an amazing job with these, omelette or soup, then a main either Sunday brunch or Sunday dinner and dessert.... My husband and I went to Malmaison Brasserie for a 5pm deal. It was brilliant. goats cheese starter was delicious, good choice of mains, dessert was fabulous. A glass of superb champagne - we had a great lunch. Not our first visit (the last time we stayed a couple of nights). Would return again.
