Situated in Ashton lane just off Byers Road, Where there are lots of quirky restuarants and bars. You come in off the lane and the restuarant just isn't what you would expect. It's like sitting in a pretty patio area somewhere surrounded by plants. Really nice setting. Visited for lunch. Took advantage of the pre-theatre set menu which is available... More

Great meal in a great location. We had the set Brasserie Menu. The courtyard is wonderful eating area full of character and certainly not a large open room with white walls. Staff were very helpful, attentive especially when we needed to find a wine to go with our choices of food. Highly recommended experience for a visitor to great city... More

Our party of seven was seated upstairs for a lively and enjoyable dinner. We had a few starters (haggis, blood pudding and courgettes) to split and then had chicken and lamb and beef skirt as main courses. All were very good especially the lamb. We shared desserts of chocolate and ale cake and pannacotta and a sundae.

We had a family lunch here, just after arriving in Glasgow to see our wee girl at University. We did not book because the online system was down all week, but I wish now that I had phoned ahead for a table, even though we ate in the Brasserie. Although tables were available in the bright courtyard area, we were... More

Having enjoyed a couple of leisurely beers while the better half shopped in the west end, we went through for dinner. Not the largest choice in the world but more than enough to whet our appetites. Exceptional food, well presented by friendly, knowledgable staff. Definitely going back.

We hadn't booked a table for lunch and were advised there was no seating downstairs, however, upstairs was available. Great?? Not really. This is the first time I have dined here and whilst the food and service was good, I wouldn't ever take a table upstairs again. The flooring needs to be seriously looked at as every time someone walks... More

The West End has many restaurants, but after visiting Kelvingrove Museum and the Hunterian Art Gallery this restaurant is the only one with the same standard: magic! Don't forget to make a reservation because this restaurant is very popular: the locals give birthday parties, foodies enjoy the great menu, tourists try to find a table... We made our reservation the... More

We came in rather late but the kitchen was still fully functional. Very friendly staff, nice place (not loud) and good fresh food. Will return.

Don’t be confused by the name: we thought it had to do with potatoes. But turns out “Chip” was the founder and late owner. And he left quite a legacy. There are two parts: a brasserie and a restaurant. We ate in the latter and it turned out to be one of the best meals we had in Scotland. (The... More

Food was amazing, beef skirt was particularly worth a mention. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in brasserie where we ate. Would definitely return. Would recommend.
