I had lunch today with my partner, daughter & mother. The lunch menu was of exceptionally good value at £13 for 2 couses. We were presented with a lovely variety of bread rolls (cheese, olive, onion or plain.) The front of house staff were knowledgeable, attentive but not overbearing. The food was delicious, well presented & delivered in a timely... More

Food was excellent - fish cooked to perfection. All staff were friendly, attentive and happy to recommend dishes from the menu. We also received complimentary sweets at the end of the meal with a 'happy birthday' message piped on the plate. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

Chose Cafe Rogano for a birthday celebration. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff were attentive and friendly and very helpful with our birthday cake. Also served some lovely complimentary petit fours with coffee. Would recommend and return!

Rogano was a place I aspired to dine in all the years I lived in or around Glasgow but my experience last weekend was really disappointing. Food average and expensive. Setting dated and a bit shabby!! Service great!

Rogano is always mentioned in top restaurants of Glasgow, and I don't know why. I had prawn and salmon skewers for main, the rice was hard, the sauce bland and the fish was over-cooked (although I was violently ill the next day, so the last statement may be wrong!?!) It was all a bit bland, and for a restaurant with... More

Took Mum for a wonderful birthday dinner and couldn’t have been more spoilt. From start to finish we were looked after by lovely staff while enjoying beautiful food. Treated mum to her favourite whole lemon sole which was cooked to perfection washed down with a delicious Sancerre. I would recommend this to anyone celebrating a special occasion

After an absence of several years we returned for dinner. As soon as we arrived things went wrong. No meeter or greeter and no cloakroom attendant to take wet topcoats. Service at the table was friendly enough but then the food arrived. Disappointing cullen skink, thin and tasteless. But worse was to come. Sole was the texture and flavour of... More

Well on this occasion my water! Rogano is a celebrated institution in the glasgow restaurant scene, catering for high level customers to mix in a friendly buzzy environment. I've been there before many times 😄 However, just as david murrin, in his excellent book " breaking the code of history" narrates how empires grow and then fade, maybe the reputation... More
