Went to this Glasgow institution on the recommendation of a local. Food fantastic and service friendly although somewhat slow between starter and main course- but we weren't in a hurry. We had the 2 different soup starters (both delicious) followed by the monk fish and fish of the day (fried cod) and a fantastic dessert- Salted Caramel Tart. Low level... More

We visited Cafe Rogano on Thursday evening on an Itison deal which was excellent value for money. The deal was any main course for two and a bottle of wine. Food was delicious. I had the sea bream and hubby had beef stroganoff. The service was really good too. Lauren was excellent. We will be back.

Not been for many years to one of Glasgow's most famous restaurants. It was my big sisters' birthday so as I treat I booked this. It was superb for lunch with good service and an excellent menu.. Will not leave it so long until next time

Returning to Roganos is an easy decision to make Good food , central location and near the subway for connections . Seafood is fresh and very well prepared . add to this the £14.95 meal deal and you have a winner ! Matahari cocktail - be warned the chilli will blow your head off !!

Had dinner and wine as part of local offer and would highly recommend to all. The service was great with superb attention to detail. The good was very tasty with fair size portions . There was no rush to get you out despite it being busy. All in all I definitely will go back.

Visited the Rogano on a Fri night. Staff were very pleasant and courteous decor, as others have informed is art deco. Food was excellent, I have no complaints whatsoever in this regard. The issue which prevented 5 stars and is a bit of a bone of contention, was one of applying an automatic service charge of 15% (this is discretionary)... More

We were just in Glasgow for a few hours (took a train over from Edinburgh for dinner and back). We stumbled on the quaint little bistro. We didn't want American (A Hard Rock and TGIF) and we wanted something nice, not noisy and outside. We found The Rogano. Although we sat outside, their interior is worth looking into. A Deco... More

Every time we visit Glasgow we always go to Rogano for lunch sometimes downstairs in the bistro and sometimes upstairs at the bar for an excellent snack, regarding the bistro the menu is varied and probably the best steak in town, the place is very much people watching Rod Stewart goes there when in town, sit at the bar eating lunch... We were shown to our table for two. My partner was seated on a banquette and I was on a chair with a big sinking hole in the middle. We were given the menus but no attempt was made to sell us anything special or any recommendations of the day. We chose from the Table d'hote lunch menu, goat's cheese... More
