My husband and I purchased an ITISON deal,a main course each and a bottle of wine per couple. We have frequented the Rogano back and forward over the years, never having any issues, always lives up to its billing. We had another fantastic night, food was amazing,a bottle of Merlot went down a treat, ambience to soak up. All staff were so friendly, informative on all... More

Elegant restaurant with superb fish and seafood, the building and the décor are worth seeing and they know how to treat fish and seafood with respect. Yes, it's a bit old fashioned but that is all part of the experience.

We had a large (15 persons) company treated almost like in a canteen. They gambled with the food and the knives between fish and meat lovers. Wine cooler pushed to the back of our seat, no way to move. Overcrowded with the air con not efficient enough. The food was more or less OK but the wines are mediocre and... More

Had early dinner in the downstairs restaurant. Surroundings great and one of the best meals I have had for a while. The salt and chillie squid was mouthwatering and the main course of mussels absolutely wonderful. My sister and I had a great evening. This restaurant is a credit to Glasgow and well worth a visit. Staff lovely too. Very... More

We went in as a couple expecting some great things, the place was full of loud suited older type men, trying loudly, to impress women and this was just the bar, we were shown to the table and virtually had to squeeze through the packed bar area, where no one would move for us or indeed the server!. I went... More

Very lucky to get a table downstairs in the early evening as we hadn't booked and we were so glad because it was fantastic. The service is top class without being stuffy and everything we ate, especially seafood, was cooked perfectly. Worth every penny.

Lovely meal in this old established restaurant. Art Deco surroundings, delightful staff and wonderful food and wine. What more can you ask for? Restaurant lived up to its long time great reputation. We'll be back!!

My last visit before today was thirty years ago! Went to lunch today with some foreign visitors and had the most wonderful experience. Excellent food and tremendous service delivered by a wonderfully efficient and pleasant young lady. The atmosphere was great - just as I had remembered it but had moved forward by adjusting its cuisine to current trends. Would... More

This restaurant in living off its' previous good name for being renowned years ago as the best seafood eatery in the City. Unfortunately living off this reputation, the modern day Rogano fails to live up to it. We dined here with friends and had a nice table downstairs. The staff are very professional and traditional but when the food arrived... More

Paid just over £100 for a cold pigeon salad, scallop starter, half thermador and grilled sea bream. Also got a bottle of Chablis. The food was pretty average quality as was the service. Overall I thought this was a little overpriced and seemed like a restaurant trying to live off of it's reputation. There's better seafood restaurants in Glasgow
