Cafe Rogano

A throughly enjoyable meal here ,we had been before and knew what to expect and were not disappointed .We had been given a voucher for Starter and main coarse ,which we took advantage of,service was a bit slow but staff were very pleasant.

First time at the Rogano, every thing about it was lovely, especially the homemade chocolates at the end of the meal. Will definitely be going back.

We purchased a deal on a popular website, the deal was 2 mains. Having been several times,we knew what to expect.Staff were friendly and attentive, good choice of drinks,I opted for an imported beer, nice one. I chose the Rib-eye main which carries a £5 supplement but still good value,my husband chose the pork belly, again, very nice. The ambience as ever was perfect,we will... More

We ate downstairs in Cafe Rogano on Friday night. Staff were lovely, service excellent, great atmosphere. The mussels were great, as was fish and chips and coffee with macaroons were delicious. Very good value for money at 2 courses for £12 on 5pm.co.uk.

Fish of the day - red snapper - was so over cooked that most of the flesh stuck to the skin and was so rubbery that it was inedible. Spoke to young waitress but did not get any response. For a classic fish restaurant this is totally unacceptable and out of character for the Rogano as we had a meal... More

I had always heard how good the Rogano was but I had never been. As a treat my wife and I decided we would go for Sunday lunch. At Sunday lunch there is a reduced price menu but we both ordered from the full a la carte menu. If you are paying full price I think it is reasonable that... More

I wrote a great review for The Rogano when I visited a few months ago, but my most recent experience was a disappointment in comparison, so here's some feedback... I took my Mum and my girlfriend for dinner last weekend. It was a very wet and windy evening and, unfortunately, nobody greeted us when we went inside - so we... More

Had a really nice pre theatre here, eating downstairs. Upstairs, ground level, can be a bit crushed/ crowded sometimes. Reasonably priced and a nice setting.

Nice place in the heart of the city centre. The art deco decor is quite a feature it gives the place a classy feel. We had lunch here and the food was to a high standard and the service was good. Would recommend it to visitors to the city.

Was here for my sister and cousins 'special' birthday. Always come here when we want something special - and again they didn't let us down. The champagne and oysters went down very well as usual - and Darren was an absolute star with his constant attention to detail - he did us very proud! Thank you!
