Had lunch here with a friend a few weeks ago and everything was scrummy and delicious. Had a lamb curry with nan and my friend had a curry and I swear we licked our bowls clean. Such great flavour and the staff are friendly and offer quick service. Lunch will be had here again in the near future :)

Visited Saturday 22nd for first time, booked the cellar as it is advertised as having a quiet and intimate feel. Our party of 4 was sat next to a party of 10 - they arrived 5 minutes after us and were unbelievably loud - screaming and shouting. We asked if we could move - that was a no. The staff... More

Not an elaborate menu but enough choice, and each dish is a treat on it's own. I have never tasted such a tasty butter chicken! Staff is friendly and efficient, waiting times can be long if no reservation.

We ventured into the West End for the first time during our stay in the Glasgow area to visit Mother India on my great-aunt's recommendation. After a 25-minute or so walk we found the restauraunt and had an excellent meal from the very reasonably-priced lunch set menu. The waiters were very helpful in advising me as to which dishes were... This place was raved up as a top curry restaurant and the menu contained fancy named dishes but they were disappointing when they arrived being rather dry.

Hated it here. Menu was poor hardly any choice. Staff weren't friendly. Felt rushed. Didn't enjoy anything about it and paid £110 for one starter 3 mains and one desert, 2 beers and 2 cokes. Rip off don't go

Cosy tables with atmosphere. A menu more akin to a select restaurant, but still has you stuck for what to have as each dish sounds excellent. Freshly prepared dishes, exquisite starters followed by main courses that have more meat content than any comparable Indian where there's usually more sauce by proportion. Fabulous authentic dishes. We will be back!

Service terrible.Food terrible . Left before main course . Why is this restaurant so popular? Presumably by offering unusual dishes such as smoked lamb. Slow cooked chicken and okra it manages to fool people into thinking it is providing an authentic Indian dining experience . The reality is that it has overpriced mediocre food and terrible service

We went on a Sunday night - hadn't booked but only had to wait about 15mins for a table. Staff were really friendly and suggested a few different dishes. We ordered a mix of a few bits and all the food was fantastic - by far and away the best curry we've had - better than the Brick Lane London... More
