Visited Mother India last Friday with some friends. Minor problem with online booking but more than offset by superb Indian cuisine. Highly recommended.

I'd not been for a number of years and was left wondering why not! The food is great, very different from your standard Glasgow indian restaurants, the surroundings lovely and the service good.

We were taken here by friends who live in Glasgow on a Sunday night. There are no reservations so be prepared to queue. The wait is worth it. It is quite a noisy high energy restaurant but that just adds to the ambience. The food was superb and between 5 of us we shared 10 dishes with rice and naan... More

This was a great disappointment! I can honestly say I have never tasted such dull Indian Food. I would be better off just putting a bit of chicken in a pot With some Uncle Ben's Sauce. It seems they have done as well. The spinach and mustard side dish was horrible. JUST som spinach in a bowl. I mean, please... More

Lovely restaurant. Quite smart and upmarket but reasonably priced. My son ordered the butter chicken and I got the garlic chilly chicken. Both these meals were outstanding. The service was great. Will definitely be back.

As an American who loves Indian cuisine, this place never disappointed. Service was good and fast but food was better. Our group ate everything and our taste buds had wonderful variation. London is not the only place you can get great Indian food, thank God.

I've been dining in Glasgow for years and despite a number of glowing reviews I'd never made it into Mother India - until now. We had no issues reserving a table for our party a couple of days in advance and upon arrival the table was ready. Staff are very courteous and welcoming. We took a cab to dinner so... More
