One of the best curries (possibly THE best) curries I have ever eaten. Even the rice was amazing. Lovely surroundings and staff, and there was even live music on the night we were there. Can't recommend it enough. Great value for the quality as well.

Three floors to choose from: Basement, ground and First Floor. I havent been in the basement- The ground floor is quieter and is great for lunches or more intimate conversation. Upstairs is the same menu and is more noisy. I have been many times and it is advisable to book. There can be queues at a weekend Friday or Saturday night... More

I have visted Mother India a few times now and took some work colleagues there this week. Last time I visted I tried the chicken curry special which is a hosue special and was a little disappointed whereas my guest at that time enjoyed his main very much so decided to give it another go. We all selected the early... More

This was up there with the best Indian food I have ever had. The staff was friendly and professional, the restaurant had a good atmosphere, but the food is the thing. If you are in Glasgow, you really must try it. Be sure to book ahead!

Obviously so much great Indian food emigrated from its homeland to the United Kingdom, but unlike the homogenized fare, Mother India pits a spicy twist on all of its unique concoctions. This is jot your run of the mill Indian spots. Chicken with chili spices is one of the best dished.

No unlike the Mother India opp Kelvingrove Art Galleries and Museum where you have to queue in the street to get in, the one you can at least get a table. Bit of a tardis it's much bigger inside than it is on the outside and the food is awesome but if there is one thing you'll be guaranteed in... More

One of the very best Indian restaurants in Glasgow, food quality is superb, service fast and efficient and prices very reasonable for this level of quality. If you like lamb you must try the leg for two, amazing...come hungry! Also for fish lovers the monkfish and prawn curry is excellent, all cooked to perfection, and the naan breads are to... More
