Our party consisted of four couples and we booked for the second sitting on Saturday evening. We got there ten minutes early and we had to go away and come back at 9pm. No problem as there are plenty of bars close by. The restaurant is very attractive and the staff are generally attentive if you get the right ones!... More

We had booked tables online beforehand and when we got there we were shown straight to our table. It is a lovely place, candlelit and cozy, good athmosphere. We were very well attended to, always with a smile and they very helpful with the menu. We all had different tastes and the food was prepared accordingly (very spicy, spicy and... More

Like a few of the great restaurants in Glasgow this place started as a Delhi (sp:)) supplying the very best fresh spices and other ingredients from India and Pakistan. They then became a restaurant using their ingredients to make the most fantastic curries with fresh chicken and meat . They made sure they avoided the after pub curry munchers and... More

We were a group of 10. We'd booked for 8pm originally but, at the restaurant's request on the morning of our booking, moved to 8.30pm. We showed up bang on time. We were then kept waiting for 20 minutes for our table because the restaurant can't manage their table turnover. No drinks were offered. No effort made to make the... More

Been to Mother India many, many times - it is a Glasgow institution, and the best curry around (and one which won't break the bank). As someone else said, here you don't get multicoloured gloop, as in some 'curry houses'. You get nice Scottish-Indian food. I can pretty much recommend every dish on the menu, but the spiced haddock is... More

Visited this restaurant after many recommendations- it did not fail to disappoint. I had the haddock to start with the lamb and brocolli main. Both were fantastic as was my girlfriends chana mushroom and black daal. Would go back!

This place has long menu with various starters , main course and desserts. The food is full of spices and flavours. The place is little bit congested as it always remains full of customers. The inside of the restaurant is good they have good service with each order taking 15 mins. If you want to relish good food, you have... More
