The best

I would never go anywhere else for an Indian in Glasgow. Always a great, busy atmosphere. Pleasant and friendly staff paired with great Indian cooking. What more can I say? My go to place!

Had a take-away rather than sit in. Fantastic quality - would recommend the fish pakora, chicken karahi, patina lamb and chana daal. All cooked to perfection - very tasty, with fresh ingredients. Just superb. Will be back - soon!

We began with pakoras, chicken and fish 'n' ginger which were not only gorgeous but piping hot, so prepared cooked and served in great time. Our mains of monkfish with prawn and chicken with spinach were beautifully spiced and cooked. A rice and nan between 2 was more than enough! It is also great that you can take your own... More

Great authentic (home style cooked) Indian food. You can't be disappointed with this (unless you like buffet style slop). This (together with Balbir's Church St) have to be the best in Glasgow!

Probably my favourite indian restaurant. Everything is made fresh and you can tell. It has a lighter style than many other indian restaurants I've eaten in and the food is always consistent. Good friendly service with a good atmosphere !

We booked a table here on a Saturday night and sat downstairs in the more 'romantic' floor (each floor seems to have its own ambience). Service was attentive without being overbearing and the food was the best Indian meal my husband and I have ever had. We had the Raan leg of lamb for 2 which was a bargain at... More

One cannot fault MI. The staff are kind and service unobtrusive. Upstairs panelled room is lively. Downstairs more sedate. Food is wonderfully varied and tasty. Breads are freshly made. Le patron is hovering everywhere. Thank you. Thoroughly recommend.

I have never been a big fan of Indian food possibly because every time i had previously tried it i danced the Bombay two step all the way to the toilet the following day. I was convinced to try my luck once more and a few people recommended me Mother India. We ate lunch, two courses for around £14, the... More
