This looks great from the outside and is...okay. Personally I think £5.60 for a small glass of red and a fizzy water is a bit OTT even for a city centre. The bar is annoyingly crowded with people sitting all along it, the bar staff hard pressed and a lot of their issue is down to the awkward layout. Pillars... More

In Glasgow shopping and met a friend for lunch. Very friendly staff, good menu/specials. Cosy and warm. I posted for an Italian burger whilst my friend went for the Chickpea burger. With soft drinks and coffees the entire bill came to £22. Would definitely return!!

When I'm in Glasgow this is my bar of choice. Chilled out vibe, good tunes and excellent food. Also I tend to drink a spirit with bottled mixer and in some bars this can end up being a ridiculous price. In here it's reasonable and my husband says the pints are excellent.

Always has some life about it, but the right amount and the right sort. I've never eaten in here but it's great for a few drinks with mates. Great boozer!

In the middle of the Merchant City , one would expect to pay over the odds for most things. Bar 91 has , fortunately , decided to provide very good food at very reasonable prices. Jof and Michael (owners) get it absolutley right with regards to portions , quality and pricing. Been on numerous occasions now and have not been... More

Popped in for s light lunch and a pint (& wifi access). The belly pork & black pudding salad was lovely (even deseeded the cucumber to avoid potential sour twang) all enjoyed with a pint of West St Mungo. Oh, also wifi available so could do some work too!

Always come in for a pint when I'm in Merchant City. Reasonably priced beers and lagers. Haven't eaten in here for many years, but i recall it was good. Always laid back with no hassels.

The bar has a nice location and ambient as well. If you go just for a beer is cool but you better don' t eat there. The food i had was really awful. Ordered a stew and i got a bowl of rice with some overcooked piece of meat and beans probably just from the can. Taste was horrible. I... More
