We visited Cup again and on this occasion to celebrate my nine year old birthday with her little girlfriends! They were treated like proper little ladies for their sweet afternoon tea party! Mummies came along too and we all had a wonderful afternoon enjoying the beautiful freshly baked cakes, sandwiches and perfect blended teas! The warm freshly made scones arrived... More

I have been a fan of Cup Tea Lounge for some time, but this was the first visit for most of the group. We had cocktail/prosecco afternoon teas (admittedly on a 2 for 1 deal), as part of a celebration event. As usual, the afternoon tea was delicious, with modifications to the sandwich fillings as per our individual preferences. Scones... More

When i heard of somewhere I can eat cake by day and drink gin by night I has to book for my friends birthday celebration. I must have called and altered the booking 10 times and was never made to feel like a bother. The cakes and sandwiches were delicious and fresh. The day only got better when the place... More

Bit disappointing... Cup is one of my favourite places but lots didn't click in this visit. I ordered the childrens afternoon tea but the cream on the jelly tasted off, although I was advised by a member of staff it was excessive vanilla?!?!? and it was replaced. My meringue was gritty and service was considerably average and this included being... More

My husband and I popped into the Tea Lounge today for a bite for lunch. We came here when it first opened and we were fans of the amazing deserts that the creative chef made. However the chef moved on and the focus has changed. We thought it would be good to pop in and were rather disappointed today. We... More

Came here on a recommendation. So good that we came back the next day. Was going to go for a third to find it closed (just for a day). The first day (Tuesday) was quiet. Service was efficient and friendly. Tried out some breakfast items (Eggs benedict, pancakes etc) as well as soup and sandwiches. This comes with a delicious... More

Popped in here for a cuppa and cake during a busy, hot Saturday afternoon of shopping in Glasgow. Coconut & Raspberry cupcakes were fab! My friend tried the lemon & poppy seed cupcake which was equally as nice, lovely building with gorgeous interior

I've visited with a friend several now, and I've been impressed every time. The service has been consistently excellent; the staff are very friendly and attentive. The setting is lovely I've only had tea and cake, so I can't comment on the menu as a whole, but said tea and cakes have always been fantastic. I'm not usually into cupcakes,... More

We did! Assam tea in a pot for two which was a tasty refreshing cup of tea and I had the bun selection (carrot cake my favourite) and my wife had the scone with cream and jam which was stunning (yes a scone can be stunning!) Really nice environment and food. Good service. Very reasonable price.
