Everything I visit Cup it is excellent. The staff are always very attentive and the food and drinks are brilliant every time. Such a nice environment to catch up with friends.

I visited this with friends and whilst just had tea/coffee I will definitely return as the range of cup cakes and scones looked amazing. Beautiful surroundings - fully tiled - it apparently was an old Bank premises of the Bank of India. Gorgeous

First impression of this place was "wow". It was like walking back in time. The place is beautiful. The service was phenomenal with every attention to detail. It was our wedding anniversary treat for afternoon tea. This place did not disappoint..the scones were made freashly to order and were served warm with cream and Jam. The sandwiches were fresh and... I was over the moon with the selection of vegetarian friendly food! It makes such a difference having more than two choices on a menu that are a bit more inventive than 'cheese and chutney'. I had the HLT (halloumi, lettuce and tomato) which was really tasty! The atmosphere is perfect, the staff are lovely and chatty and the cupcakes... More

I have visited cup tea lounge many times, whether just for a cupcake and a coffee or for one of their various "teas" and I have always really enjoyed it. As well as their traditional Afternoon Tea they also do a Morning Tea and an Evening Tea which have hot savouries instead of sandwiches, as well as cakes and scones.... More

I took my mother here for an afternoon tea treat for Mother's Day. Having a reservation we where seated right away and offered tea, coffee etc. the 3 tiers arrived shortly after and everything was delicious and well presented. The staff where great and attentive. We enjoyed ourself throughly and will be back. The only reason I didn't give it... More

If you want to have an afternoon tea with a touch of class look no further than Cup Tea Lounge in Renfield Street, Glasgow. I visited with my Fiancee as she had been given a gift for afternoon tea for two. First off the interior of this building is very ornate tiled tastefully from floor to ceiling, i asked one... More

Brilliant service. No tables available when we arrived but the waitress took out number and called when a table became available. Friendly, smiling staff. Excellent range of teas. We enjoyed the Afternoon Tea, perhaps a little pricey but was tasty.

The lovely interior of Cup Tea Lounge made our tasty lunch that bit more special. Its the old Prudential building (1890). A fantastic tiled business hall with Moorish tiles and fireplaces. It feels like dining abroad in Victoria's time. We didnt try the cakes or tea. However, lunch of barbecued pulled pork sourdough was good, as was the baked potato.... More
