Lovely food, rubbish 1/2 glass of wine!

Went to this restaurant with some friends today and it was lovely, the food was great and the service really good too . My only gripe was that with the lunch menu you got a glass of prosecco but you don't get a whole glass it's only half and it's in a flute so it's no more than a mouthful!

Went on a busy Saturday night using a 5pm deal. First of all there were 3 of us and we were squeezed onto a table that was probably designed for 2. Certainly the party next door encroached onto our table. But once they left we could at least spread out and just about all fit onto the table. Free wine... More

I booke a table for eight and we had a great time. The food was great as was the service , add some cheeky banter from the staff and you could not ask for more. We all had different mains ,starters and sweets and the consensus was all the food was first class. Wine reasonably priced. Result was eight very... More

Got off to a bad start! Had booked through 5pm deal and got confirmation, but restaurant had no record of booking! They did move some tables about to accommodate us, but we were a bit squashed as we were a group of 5 on a table for 4. Food was good overall (bruschetta needed to a bit crisper, but topping... This place was reall nice for a little city break with some wine and fine italian food. The staff was lovely and made us feel very comfortable. They do week main+dessert or app+main for a fair price and the desserts are lovely. Its a little bit hidden but worth a visit.

Good food, would like to go back to try other things. It's a bit dark in the inside and the interior isn't great but it's the food that matters most, I suppose.

Visited for lunch on the 01/08/2015. We had the 5pm.com lunch menu which included a glass of prossecco. The choice was very good and the portions large. Great value for money. The restaurant was very busy and I'm not surprised. I'd definitely go back.

We have been to Verona's on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed the experience. We took advantage of their lunchtime 2/3 course special but when the bill arrived found there to be an extra charge, allbeit a small one. On asking what this was for, the waitress informed us it was because we did not tell the waiter... More

hi. I am sorry that you were not happy with our service on your recent visit. We only do a 2 course lunch or 3 course lunch and a 2 course and 3 course pre theatre. If you require just one meal then you would be advised to purchase this from the normal a la carte menu. Our prices are... More
