What a lovely place with great food, coffee, wine and beer. The service received was warm and friendly and I would recommend a visit.

Met up with relatives to have a breakfast cum brunch on a very hot day. Food was good. It was quite small inside so not all that cool - maybe a fan would have been a good idea. You could sit outside but tables would only accommodate two folks to eat.

We found this café/restaurant near our holiday accommodation, initially for coffee and cake. We then returned for an nearly dinner which was very good. The staff were great and had that lovely balance between friendliness and professionalism. the 3 of us chose different dishes, smokies, lamb and salads all were yummy and good portion size leaving room for good puds.... We had the pea and ham soup, macaroni cheese with chorizo and goats cheese and pear bruschetta, all of which were delicious. Service was very good and the decor was charming. Highly recommend for lunch, dinner or simply a coffee and a cake - it is a hidden gem on Glasgow's Southside.

We had breakfast there on Saturday and ordered eggs Benedictine. They were delicious and the coffee to go with it was very good too. It is always a pleasure to eat there as the menu is good and the service is great. A lovely small bistro type café/restaurant in a lovely area and nice atmosphere. Staff are always very polite... We had lunch on a Saturday . Staff were excellent, no tables when we arrived but they looked after us and found us a window seat until a table was free. The food was delicious, eggs royale was superb, husband had mince and tatties which he thoroughly enjoyed. The service here is very good and we have no complaints at... More

I was here some time ago (think it was last summer, can't be sure) and a young thin girl with dyed red hair served us, she looked like hell and she smelt like booze, food was nice, so was the coffee but I wasn't impressed by the girl, lovely cafe just a shame the staff let you down, don't know... The cafe culture is alive and well in the southside, staff friendly and welcoming, a great place to to sit, relax, chat and eat. We will be back again soon.

Food is good quality from meals to cakes. Staff friendly & attentive. Well priced food & never left hungry. Nothing amazing about MJs but never fails to feed & water you well. Could go with an old friend or for business lunch. Never booked and although busy have always seemed to get a seat. Recommend +++.
