Tried heading there tonight. This business has closed. There is a "To Let" sign out front. So went to "Mini Bar" on Bath Street which was fantastic.

Went for brunch and what a relaxed atmosphere. I had the fry up and my wife had a sandwich and both were excellent as was the coffee. Wasn't a normal fry up but won't going detail just try it yourself. Wasn't that expensive either. Recommended to a friend but his meal according to him wasn't that great. Must have caught... More

We were just passing through the Central Belt on this visit but we had to have lunch at our favourite eating place in Glasgow. It is always lovely to be remembered by staff and it is a mystery how they manage to do it when we are only able to visit now and again. We wish we lived closer. The... More

...though recommended by a friend. This was on a list of recommended places to eat however we came across it quite by accident after a long walk. Luckily there are signs on Sauichall Street to direct you just round the corner. I was tempted by the brunch option of pancakes, maple syrup and bacon and this did not disappoint! The... More

Having eaten my fair share of bacon sandwiches in my time, I would consider myself to be an aficionado on the matter. The bacon sandwich in Sideways is arguably the finest I've ever had! A freshly baked roll is stuffed with good quality chargrilled bacon and lathered with your sauce of choice. Washed down with a flat white, there are... More

Sideways is a hidden gem. It is rarely crowded with people, which shocks me because the food is so great, but I am happy as it means you can always get a table. I often go for a morning coffee and then for a takeaway sandwich. The prices are very affordable and as for the food... the food is very... More

Disclaimer: I go to Sideways every morning for coffee and had eaten some of the take out food they offer, but hadn't eaten dinner there till this review. Their coffee is great; I enjoyed the mackerel roll with blue cheese (sounds odd but it was really nice) and takeaway scrambled eggs and toast (also tasty). This review is for a... More
