This was our third visit to this French restaurant and the standard has been maintained, or probably improved. We chose from the lunch menu which offers a good range. The food quality was excellent and portion size generous. The staff are friendly and efficient. The chef was visiting every table and very willing to discuss the menu. We plan to... More

We went to Bistro Beaumartin just by chance one rainy Saturday evening in October. We were given a romantic window table and the food and the service were excellent. The menu is small which makes each dish of excellent high quality. The traditional Boeuf Bourgignon was especially delicious.

If you are looking for raucous loud and fast food this is not for you. We had a delicious lunch. The service was unobtrusive but efficient. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and conducive to chatting over your meal. What a joy!

Arrived at restaurant on Wednesday 21 October at 1pm or shortly after. Nice cosy atmosphere with happy diners and good looking food on the plates. The place has a good ambiance with a good number of diners being "ladies who lunch" with a few exceptions - a growing market! No one at front of house or at bar area and... More

Seven of us booked here for a reunion and chatty catch up after we dined in here a few months ago. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed the various selections we made from the menu with those of us having steaks found them perfectly cooked as ordered! Soups and goat cheese starters went down a treat as did the house wines.... More

Had been here before when it first opened but it was always busy anytime we had tried since. However managed to get a table one Friday evening recently. Both my wife and i opted for the pre theatre special menu which,in my opinion offered terrific value.I started with goats cheese followed by confit duck leg which were both delicious and my wife... We went to Le Bistro Beaumartin for the first time, for a family birthday lunch. They do a set lunch for a reasonable price (either 2 or 3 course). In addition to that, you get a small glass of house wine included, which does make it good value. Several of us were particularly looking forward to the French onion soup,... More

Wow. This was like stepping into France! Attentive and friendly waiting staff, a wonderful (and reasonably priced) wine list and, oh my word, amazing food. The menu only has about three or four mains (which is definitely a good thing) and they are all delicious. We had snails and frogs' legs to start which were the best I've ever had.... More

I've met one of the owners of this bistro at their Epicerie Beaumartin, a small deli on Great Western Road, where I've sampled their great bread and some of their food. This was enough to make us go and check their restaurant, which we recommend. The service is very good and the menu simple but interesting and the food tasty,... More

This is a nice little place close to center of Glasgow. Some good offers midweek. Decent pre-theatre menu. Overall good value for city center dinning.
