I had dinner with a friend at le bistro Beaumartin during a visit to Glasgow. What a treat! Our sea bass entrees were prepared expertly and extremely delicious. Wish I lived closer so I could enjoy this charming French care more often.

We booked for a pre-theatre meal. On our first attempt at booking by phone we could not hear because of some background din. On our second attempt we made our booking easily enough. When we arrived we realised our initial difficulty. Apparently they were hosting part of a music festival, and some French 'musicians were belting out a truly dreadful... More

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times before, and hence by returning I must be satisfied with the food and service. On this occasion I was there for lunch. They offer various special deals at lunchtime, which are of reasonable value. It was a shame that it was very quiet, and so had very little atmosphere. The quality... More

Went there on a Tuesday evening and fully enjoyed the steak frites and a bottle of wine for £30 for 2... really good value for a really good evening meal. Lovely atmosphere with some French musique and the French 'patron' will defo go back for more French experience... tres tres bien :)

Went on a Tues night and it was a shame that the restaurant was pretty empty apart from 2 other tables, as this affected the atmosphere - which was pretty non existent. Our host, Stephen, was very accommodating and made us welcome. We had the pre-theatre menu which incl a small glass of wine, which was good. STARTERS:Paté was lovely... More

We booked on 5pm.co.uk and what great value!! £16 for 3 courses and a glass of wine. We paid extra for the steak, but it was perfectly cooked, delicious and well worth the money. The chocolate fondant is amazing. A definite must go and must have.

I'd just passed an important exam so felt like a celebratory late lunch and, on Friday, Le Bistro has an extended lunch service until 4pm. Even at a slack period between main services there was enough atmosphere in the restaurant to keep my good mood going and the service was attentive even as the staff did other chores from time... It was quite busy when I visited and service was a little slow. My starter of salmon wasn't quite as described and I was dissapointed. However, the steak frites made up for it and was delicious. Would return .

Honestly one of the worst meals I've ever had. We were sat next to the toilet, so the aroma of fresh jobbie provided the backdrop to our evening. I asked to move but was refused, though there were plenty of empty tables. I'd have overlooked the greasy thumbprints all over the plates our starters were served on had they not... More

Just back from a theatre break in Glasgow and visited Le Bistro Beaumartin for lunch. Although we arrived very early for our booking, this was no problem to the fabulous staff of Beaumartin. We were seated and choices taken quickly and the food was amazing! Beautifully presented by professional, friendly staff with a visit to the table by the chef... More
