We 'fell across' this bistro during a weekend visit to Glasgow, attracted by the offer advertised for 2 x Steak courses and bottle of wine for £30 - turned out this was only on a Tuesday, however we went for the pre-theatre menu (3 courses for £16.95 - without wine at a weekend) and it was excellent. Good choice of... More

My friend and I had a light lunch here recently and it was very good. Being a vegetarian I wasn't hopeful for a vast selection from a french menu but was pleasantly surprised as both soup's on offer were vegetarian and there was a special main of the day. I opted for a warm goats cheese salad which was very... More

My friend had read a fantastic review on this restaurant.......what a disappointment. I knew in visiting the downstairs toilet on arrival, and seeing the cooking area what to expect.....on exiting the toilet, a member of staff was getting undressed in a hallway. Service was the worst aspect with no connection or pleasant attitude from the main person. Young male was... More

Popped in here on a weekend visit to Glasgow on a Saturday night. Didn't have a reservation but they squeezed us in. So glad they did: what a find! We had the 3-course pre theatre menu which was fantastic. The onion soup was delicious, the steak was perfectly cooked and the cheeses were gorgeous. Staff were charming and attentive, the... More

I visited the restaurant as it displays it's 4.5 trip advisor rating in the window. The French onion soup was watery with some sad croutons and grated cheddar cheese on the side. The steak was tasteless and very fatty. I was really disappointed. The decor is tired(I've just been in Paris and restaurants there are chic and modern.) The toilets... More

Cannot understand any poor review posted on this place. I've dined here several times recently with my French friends and have yet to find any fault with either the quality of the food, or the service. Yes, it may not be on the beaten track, but look out for it, you will NOT be disappointed. Hubby cannot eat gluten and... More

I went here based on the restaurant's TripAdvisor score and was extremely satisfied. The food was simple but excellently designed and executed. Everything was well cooked and perfectly seasoned. The wines suggested by the waiter paired very well with the dishes we ordered. Every bite of every dish was full of flavor and depth. It forced me to slow down... More

Claims to be the real deal so I ordered French onion soup which is an all-time favourite. No cheesy crust on the soup but some grated cheese and croutons to add to the soup. Waiter was inexperienced and didn't seem to care, while the "maitre d" was wearing trainers and a t-shirt. More cafe than bistro/restaurant.

We had the best meal we have had in ages in this wonderful gem of a find! The service was excellent, the choice on both the pre theatre and a la carte menus was superb. I would challenge anyone to find better value for money for the same quality anywhere in Glasgow! Oh and the fondant au chocolat was to... More

The owners clearly have one intention here: pretend that you're eating in Paris not Glasgow. And ye pretty much make it. A menu of French classics, Parisienne decor and bistro furnishings are all in place. What marks it out is the very personal and friendly greeting and service: the staff (owner?) seems genuinely pleased to see you and makes helpful,... More
