Went there to fill in time before catching our train home. We had a couple of beers and opted for a plate of nachos. I think the staff forgot about us, as it took over half an hour for the food to arrive. The salsa was dried out, but due to a lack of time we didn't complain. Pity, as... More

Arrived at 5.15pm, after being amazed with the interior of the building and finding our way around the maze like layout we got a seat and ordered. After 40 minutes our main course arrived, which we found were no more than look warm. While waiting another hour after finishing our main course for our desert to arrive, we are still... More

From the outside this looks like a fairly small Irish bar. Once inside it opens up into a number of separate named and themed rooms of various sizes. worth a visit. Close to shopping streets, stations and subway stops. Large varied menu. friendly staff

Very busy city centre bar / restaurant, even more so at the weekend. Have been there several times as it it is handy for the railway sation, shops, etc. Monday night arrived late but it still had a buzz about the place. On a busy night you can find quieter spots and dine - although to date I have not... More

Very slow service at bar and for food arriving (we were a group of 5 in about 530pm on a Tue). Menu was good and the food was all tasty, if a little expensive for pub food in Glasgow (£9.50 for sharing nachos with chilli, for example). Staff were helpful. Toilets hadn't been checked for most of the day and... More

We passed this venue on our way in to Glasgow, but it was too early for it to be open so we called in on the way back. We had already eaten so we only had drinks, which were reasonably priced. There are several bars on several levels. The decor is almost religious, with wooden stairs, walls , pews, candles.... More

On a recent trip driving around Scotland visiting Single Malt Distilleries my wife, son and I ended up in Glascow for our last night. I had investigated Waxy O'Connor's pub and restaurant on their website, and decided to have supper there. It was a Sunday when they have live traditional music session from 15h00 to 19h00 in one of their... More

Visited for a drink as part of my birthday celebrations after being recommended by a friend. Was fun exploring all the different levels. Great atmosphere and even better as we visited on 1st November and staff were dressed for halloween. Thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and would recommend people check out this bar for some great atmosphere
