Hi I visited here with some friends from London, it always looked nice and it was my first visit. Upon entering we were told to go upstairs and the downstairs style did not match the ground floor it was red plastic chairs and looked more like office canteen furniture and that is not in a good way. I ordered the... More

Sunday brunch and were lucky to get a table quickly upstairs. Our waiter took our drinks order quickly and arrived promptly. Excellent cup of coffee it was. I ordered eggs benedict with a slice of Stornaway black pudding on the side, and my daughter ordered the eggs with crabmeat. When the dishes arrived after a reasonable wait, it was Sunday... More

I've visited cafezique on many occasions both for food, coffee and drink. The mood of the staff is variable but the atmosphere is quite unique. You've got the choice of sitting on either the ground floor or the second (perfect for more intimate style "meetings" or just an opportunity to catch up with friends over some board games!). Mind you... More

Stopped by to buy a piece of cake. I was asked to wait at the counter while the staff seemed busy, which was fair enough. However, really got miffed and left once others who came after me were served while I stood there patiently.

Staff were very cold to me when entering the restaurant to meet friends on the evening of the 29th of October. Why they felt the need to be like this one is not sure but it was very off putting. I have worked in this industry for years and find this a bizarre way to act when potential paying customers... More

I have met friends twice recently in this classy wee joint and enjoyed lovely tastes from their starter and small menu. I have sampled both the russet and the polenta chips, both delicious and I loved the 'small' plate of Shetland mussels with a Stilton sauce, a winner I didn't think would work, but certainly did. A lovely dry white,... More

This is one of my favourite places in Glasgow. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food is excellent. There is a particular focus on using Scottish produce which I really like. You don't have to be ordering food to go here though. The atmosphere is great if you are just looking for somewhere to go for drinks.... More

I keep coming back to this restaurant/cafe because the breakfast is excellent. The food is well prepared, served efficiently with a smile and coffee cups are quickly refilled even when busy. It's also great for lunch and supper and even a quick cupper in the afternoon. Go.
