late dinner

We asked if the kitchen was open as it was almost 9.30pm, we were shown to our table and received first class service. The food was well presented, absolutely what we wanted, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Over priced! Food hit or miss. Try elsewhere. Looks good from outside but don't be fooled. It's sister venue Garvies in milngavie is by far better

Went here for dinner mid week; the food was very good and the staff very attentive. Price wise you might say that some items were pitched a little higher than elsewhere however you do also need to factor in the comfortable surroundings and pleasant atmosphere. Worth a visit.

My partner and I booked this restaurant for a very special occasion. Arrived Saturday 6th June 7.30. We were seated quickly in the glasshouse area and the drinks order was taken. After sitting 30 minutes with no drinks or waitress to be seen we left. It seemed to be the larger tables were getting more attention than the others. Terrible... More

Visit Oregano as family, to say we were disappointed is an understatement. Starters, my son in law and I ordered the soup of the day with fresh crusty bread, when the soup arrived it was lukewarm at best and the bread was anything but crusty. My wife ordered scallops, you could smell them before they reached the table, an obviouse... More

We came for lunch and my roast beef sandwich was excellent. The fish and chips looked good value but the cajun chicken was a bit small, sat on top of a few chips. Probably not good value. Because it was Wednesday, they have a special fish and chips for pensioners that looked very good. Attentive waiting staff.

Been a few times, never been overly impressed but this recent visit was very poor! Cold starter which had to be returned, undercooked soggy chips and onion rings! When pointed out to staff, they were barely interested! A few of the younger staff members were very pleasant and helpful but senior staff not interested! Even the sweet which was supposed... More

Great to return to an old haunt of mine to celebrate my sons 23rd birthday. We were seated in Glasshouse which is bright and very roomy. The food and service was superb and reasonably priced and one thing is for sure............. I'll be back ..............and thanks again Oregano for the memorable meal.

We popped in here for Coffee and Scones and a wee catch up. It was a lovely spring day so the atmosphere in the glasshouse restaurant was lovely and the service was good. We ordered scones which were served hot with Jam, Butter and Cream. I know there is a scone and tea deal for £2.50 however not sure if... More
