I come here with friends often and its always been a good choice. We normally eat from the lunch menu which is very good and good value. I would normally have pasta /pizza/steak sandwich. I've never had a bad meal. Portions are generous and tasty. We recently had the festive lunch: I had parsnip soup (huge, roasting and tasty) and... More

Went to the oregano for a family lunch as it was our grans 80th. Food was tasteless and not worth the money. My sister actually sent her starter back. Out of the 11 of us three ppl only enjoyed there meal. I was at Xmas night out last night in the function room. The roast turkey was dried up and... More

I am disappointed to hear that your experience at the Oregano and at one of our party nights did not meet our usual high standards. We strive to provide high quality food, service and surroundings for all our customers and to hear that this has not been achieved is of course a concern. I must thank you for taking the... More

Visited with the family for Sunday lunch, as always service and food were very good, also very reasonably priced. Would recommend a visit.

Passing by all the time we'd thought we'd pop in for Sunday lunch. Good deal two or three course option unfortunately nothing on starter my partner would eat so he stuck with the two courses. My haggis fritters were lovely very tasty although broke up when I tried to cut them making it difficult to eat! But the taste made... More

Decided to visit here for lunch as we were in the vicinity. We have been here before and it's lovely sitting in the glasshouse watching the world go by. Good choice of starters I chose the oatcakes with chicken parfait and onion chutney. The size of the parfait was large and the 4 oatcakes were tiny. Definitely need to increase... More

We've just eaten at this restaurant two evenings in a row whilst visiting family in Glasgow. On Monday night we ate from the early bird menu. Excellent choice for food and we were able to have one, two or three courses from it or choose something from the main menu. Both the food and the service were excellent. We ate... More

My fiance took me here on valentines day and everything about it was beautiful. The service was great, the food was delicious and the free champagne was a nice little extra. We will be sure to return.

I live in the area, and was given a gift voucher for this restaurant. We were in no hurry to use it, given some of the lukewarm reviews I read here. However, I have nothing but praise for the place. The restaurant was immaculately clean and fresh-looking. Service was prompt and courteous. Prices were reasonable. The food was delicious- I... More

Visited this restaurant on a few occasions as its close to family and standard of food is acceptable. But they could not cope when they got busy and we had to wait half an hour for a wet prawn cocktail and soup of the day, then nearly a further hour for seven main courses. I would advise giving this place... More

Popped in for a meal late afternoon during a weekend - we had been here a few times, but on this occasion we were a bit disappointed. Ordered the Tai Fishcakes to start. No breadcrumbs which I thought strange, and the chilli sauce was a strange colour (very dark brown!). Anyway, we didn't think much of them at all, certainly... More
