I've been to Oregano quite a few times over the years and I don't think I've ever actually enjoyed it. Maybe once when it first opened. It always sounds like a good idea until you actually go. If you have no taste buds then fine go ahead. The food is so bland. My mum commented last night that her chorizo... More

Booked here for Fathers Day meal with the family, eight of us in total including an 8and 5 year olds. Service was ok considering it was relatively busy. Menu was ok. Reasonable choices for starters, mains and desserts. And the children's choice was the usual. £14.95 for two courses and £16.95 for three courses. The children's was £7.95 for 2... More

I have been to the oregano a few times as well as other units within the group (Rasio - WOW) and we decided to go here at the weekend as a group to catch up with family who were up to visit. I like to go places where you know what your getting; with Oregano you are met with lovely... More

Went for our Wedding Anniversary last Friday. Had booked the Glasshouse sitting area prior to visit, however the place was empty so didn't have any problem. The server's English wasn't too great, unfortunately he gave us a bottle of Champagne instead of a Sparkling Wine, I should have paid more attention to him displaying the bottle, but the manager sorted... I have had lunch etc in this restaurant previously and always very pleased. Last month we had booked my grandson's christening lunch at Oregano and they really were excellent in every way for service variety of menu choices and great atmosphere. The final bill was really reasonable for 16 persons food and drink etc. They really are good for functions... More

I've been here a fair few times & this was not the best. There on mon night with friends at 7pm. Menu very varied with lots of choice,( not necessarily a good thing) for very average, pretty much like pub food with the usual suspects plus a fair few variations. The tempura starter good, meatballs/pasta not bad, steak pie not... More

My son took us out for Easter Sunday to this venue. We were seated in the glasshouse section of the restaurant, which is bright and airy. It was a fixed menu, which was rather limited. my wife and I had the prawn cocktail whilst my son opted for the trio of melon. The prawn cocktails were rather bland and tasteless.... More

Took my mum for lunch on Friday to the Oregano at the Eagle Lodge - hadn't been here for many years and certainly before it had been refurbished. We were very warmly welcomed and asked if we would like to sit in the conservatory - it was lovely, light and warm (despite the Glasgow weather). The menu offered a great... More
