I have visited many restaurants in Glasgow but I can honestly say the food and service in the Punjabi come second to none. The staff are very attentive but not overbearing. The food? Well,..... If you like tasty, this is the Indian restaurant for you. My friend and myself were totally satisfied with the whole dining experience. Jazzy and his... More

On a trip back to Scotland from San Diego, California, I went into this restaurant and was blessed with the best curry I have had in Glasgow. Fresh food was served by very helpful staff, and it did not cost an arm and leg, prices very reasonable. I will make a point of returning the next time I am in... More

Fabulous food. Been looking for a decent indian restaurant for a long time now ive found it this will be my new local takeaway although I stay 15 miles away definitely worth the extra miles. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food is the best in Glasgow. You can taste the difference in flavour of each dish, so often in... More

I was walking by, craving curry, on my solo Scotland vacation from America. Nice wooden storefront and good vibes drew me in. The owners were super friendly and accomodating. The service is fantastic. And, I'm a vegetarian, so your nans and parathas better be fantastic...And they WERE! Seriously, try the food!!

I visited the Punjabi on a cold wet night when staying at a nearby hotel and fancied a curry for my evening meal. Once inside the restaurant was warm and welcoming and I was met by a smiling waiter with a broad Glaswegian accent and the local sense of humour. As it was a weekday night the restaurant was fairly... More

Got to agree with reviewers who give this place a high rating and excellent reviews. First class food served up in a good atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for the guys. As a previous reviewer highlighted, the lamb chops starter is superb. Also, not many Indian restaurants serve up mussels for a starter. The Punjabi does and they are... More
