There are many Indian restaurants in Glasgow, this is in a good location. The staff are very attentive and are excellent at advising if something different is sought. We got free poppadoms and spiced onions when we arrived. We had a couple of mixed platters to start and they were superb highly recommended. And the food that the 5 of... More

This is nice restaurant was welcoming and gave us some very nice food. We selected dishes that were typical offerings on all Indian menus and they were cooked nicely, had good tasty sauces and generally delivered on taste and spiciness. Notably, the chicken was soft textured and clearly was normal chick breast cut up rather than the giant anonymous lumps... More

Lovely place, in not such a good area (I'm not a local). Empty of custom (1 table of 4 and me). Service friendly - in a Fawlty Towers way! Starter - prawn purée was actually prawns in uncle bens sweet and sour sauce on a chapatti. Main course - chicken tikka noori - chicken tikka in uncle bens sweet and... More

Loved this place from moment we walked in. Made to feel really welcome...and free poppadums' and spiced onions...an old tradition which has been forgotten by the other Indian restaurants in Glasgow. Young man serving us was a delight and a great ambassador for this restaurant...so attentive! We had mixed pakora and then two curry's between us. One was the chicken... More

The waiter got us water straight away and had poppadoms waiting for us which was a nice touch i think. We couldnt... More

There are many Indian restaurants in Glasgow, some with big reputations that, when it matters, fail to deliver. This place is different. The staff are very attentive and are excellent at advising if something different is sought. And the food. Oh my goodness, the food. It was suggested I try a lamb dish that contained a hint of mint but... More

I'd booked this restaurant due to it's good review on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. It turned out that the restaurant was quiet due to the uncommonly hot weather and nobody wanted a curry, which I thought was quite ironic. We knew Glasgow had a good reputation for curries and if the Punjabi is a representative example then Glaswegians... More
