Loved this place from moment we walked in. Made to feel really welcome...and free poppadums' and spiced onions...an old tradition which has been forgotten by the other Indian restaurants in Glasgow. Young man serving us was a delight and a great ambassador for this restaurant...so attentive! We had mixed pakora and then two curry's between us. One was the chicken... More

We went as a family of 8. I called to book in advance for 10pm (opening our fast since its ramadan) but when we got there it was empty probably being a monday and being 10 at night. The waiter got us water straight away and had poppadoms waiting for us which was a nice touch i think. We couldnt... More

There are many Indian restaurants in Glasgow, some with big reputations that, when it matters, fail to deliver. This place is different. The staff are very attentive and are excellent at advising if something different is sought. And the food. Oh my goodness, the food. It was suggested I try a lamb dish that contained a hint of mint but... More

I'd booked this restaurant due to it's good review on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. It turned out that the restaurant was quiet due to the uncommonly hot weather and nobody wanted a curry, which I thought was quite ironic. We knew Glasgow had a good reputation for curries and if the Punjabi is a representative example then Glaswegians... More

First served with papadam & spicy onion, which made me thinking that we didn't order, but took the chance, but it was complimentary. Amazing starter [Fish pakora] good portion, not oily & fresh. the Main course some chicken curry [forgot the exact name], which was wee bit oily. But the taste made me think it is ok..... Sure I will... More

Very warm welcome from Jaizi, restaurant was quiet but the World Cup is on. Complimentary poppadoms are always a good start. Knowledgeable staff listened to what I enjoy and recommended a fabulous punjabi lamb dish. Rachael went fir her usual lamb pathia which was given a big thumbs up! Overall, thoroughly enjoyable meal - we will be back! Thanks to... More

This is not the first time my husband and I have been here but we came again after a debate over the many restaurants to choose in Glasgow. We didn't regret it. We had a compliments of the house poppadum with lovely onion pickle. We had a super bottle of red australian shiraz. Our curries were both excellent and the... More

This restaurant makes some of the best curries I have tasted. Each dish is individually prepared and tailored to your needs, this means you wait a little longer but is infinitely preferable to mass produced, pre cooked food. The staff are very friendly, attentive and knowledgable about the menu. The location is perfect for bus routes, taxis etc and in the... More
