Service was reasonable as they were obviously experiencing a very busy night. Had a bit of a wait for our meals but when it arrived we were more than chuffed with our dishes. Very good value. Very comfortable environment for a meal. Great wee local Italian, will definitely return soon!

I have been going to Sapori d'Italia since last year. My partner's mum lives in the area and once, whilst looking for somewhere to have lunch, we happened to pass by and decided to give it a go. I am Italian myself and I am normally wary of Italian restaurants abroad as they tend to present a fusion of local... More

Booked as came well recommended on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. I had one of the best Italian meals ever. Very small local restaurant run by lovely young couple. I couldn't fault either the service or the food. Fantastic value, 3 people, 3 courses including wine, £93, on a Saturday evening.

This is very much a family run laid back restaurant. Our table wasn't ready for 20 mins (we had booked) but nowhere to sit and wait. I'm not a fussy eater but struggled with the mushroom heavy menu. The food that came was delicious and full of flavour and service was excellent.

We booked this on the recommendation of a friend and happened to be going to the closing of the Commonwealth Games a few days after the recommendation, so glad we followed up her advice. Although it was a set menu for the games and perhaps a little more expensive than you might have thought (£19;50 for 2 courses and £22:50... More

We found this gem of a bistro when researching parking for the Olympic football matches in 2012, so when we got tickets for the Commonwealth Games there was no doubt where we would be lunching. Bruno had everything organised in advance down to sending us the set menu to make sure we were happy with it. Like before the food... More

We were lucky enough to get some tickets for the Commonwealth games (athletics) at Hampden Park and we used tripadvisor to find a restaurant near the stadium. What a find this restaurant proved to be. I made contact initially by e-mail to book for a pre-games meal and was immediately struck by the helpful and very friendly response from Bruno... More

A lovely little Italian. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere with good service even when they are so very busy over the commonwealth games. Food very tasty and so glad I booked it. Just a few minutes walk to Hampden Park.

A friendly, unpretentious restaurant with fresh and tasty food. A couple of little touches like fresh bread and jug of water offered with meal would have been nice but a minor grumble. Worth a visit.
