A lovely little Italian. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere with good service even when they are so very busy over the commonwealth games. Food very tasty and so glad I booked it. Just a few minutes walk to Hampden Park.

A friendly, unpretentious restaurant with fresh and tasty food. A couple of little touches like fresh bread and jug of water offered with meal would have been nice but a minor grumble. Worth a visit.

I just love this restaurant and am writing this review having eaten there many times. As other reviewers have said it's small and unpretentious but the quality of the food and service and the ambience make it a stand out for me. The antipasti plate is of particular note. It is generous with a variety of antipasti and beautifully presented.... More

Enjoyed a lovely meal in Sapori on Saturday evening. Really nice atmosphere with very friendly staff. I asked about the ingredients of my main dish, and the chef came over to speak to me which I thought was a very nice touch. It is most certainly worth a visit to this lovely cosy restaurant and booking in advance is advisable. My... More

Over the course of the evening we had a couple of spillages and the staff couldn't have been more attentive or helpful! We all had a fab night in a lovely little... More

Brought a date here for a meal, Giovanni was very welcoming to us both, brought us over the menu telling us the specials and asking for drinks the usual really. I like what size it is as it's quite authentic compared to some Italian restaurants. The one thing we did quickly notice is that it was roasting as you can... More

What a great little restaurant. We had the pleasure of eating here when on a trip to Hamden for an athletics meeting and chose it because of its location and tripadvisor reviews. We certainly weren't disappointed. The service was exceptional and the food was good, honest, lovely Italian food. Wish we stayed a bit closer so we could visit more... More
