Completely underwhelmed.

Starters were good however the mains were not. My spaghetti carbonara was one of the worst I've had for some time.

My daughters birthday today and this restaurant was recommended by a friend. What a fabulous place. Very authentic Italian food place very relaxed and a great atmosphere. Best lasagne I have ever had. My daughter can be a fussy eraser (14) but she loved the meatballs. A definite find and somewhere I will be returning to.

Went for a quick lunch on Saturday and food was good. All the others eating in the restaurant had meals that looked and smelled very authentic, good home cooked Italian food. Will definitely return. Prices not bad and service very good. Best to book in advance as place is quite small and very busy.

Go and try for yourselves. Couldn't complain about anything. We have started to give friends vouchers for meals, in fact we will be returning shortly with friends with vouchers received at Xmas

Yes, Sapori D'Italia does italian home cooking. But that is similar to what we eat at home. My wife is French, from near the Italian border, and a keen cook. I thought there would be more flair, something more interesting, but I was wrong. For that I must go elsewhere (and get it for the same price). Nothing wrong with... More

Visiting Sapori D'Italia is like stepping into (an especially good) restaurant in Italy, but at about half the cost. Absolutely outstanding food, prepared by incrediblky talented chefs with the best of ingredients every time. There isn't a square inch of the restaurant that isn't genuinely Italian. If, in all my travels to Italy, I could find a restaurant that so... More

Small restaurant but bags of atmosphere. As previous contributors have said, staff were attentive without being intrusive. Menu was comprehensive but not overly complicated. What my wife and I chose, bruschetta and calamari for starters, were excellent. For the main courses we had spaghetti carbonara and mussels and both were also outstanding. All dishes were very reasonably priced and I... More

A lovely atmosphere, intimate and friendly. I had sea good pasta and it was delicious. The sea food had so much flavour, the pasta was so well cooked, everything was perfect!
