the mother of good Indian restaurants!

We have been coming to Dining In for years and it is consistently tasty and good value. The menu is varied and very good value, average main courses being £5-7. My particular favourite is garlic chili chicken and my boyfriend loves the radish paratha. Staff are well acquainted with the menu and... read more

I went there twice in recent months and that is what me and my son decided. Both dishes were exceptional whereas the other two were just very good. Each floor has a different atmosphere, all good. I preferred the first floor. Very convivial but I'd not book for more than 6 as I think you'd take over or be squashed

This restaurant is in an imposing converted Victorian Public House. Booking advisable at weekends. Have made several visits and all have been exceptionally good. The sumptuous decoration is reminiscent of the days of Raj and is augmented by fascinating black and white photos of early Glasgow on every wall. The service is excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly.... More

Was given vouchers for this Indian diner, with the recommendation that it was the best Indian in Glasgow, well we were not disappointed. The flavours just burst on your tongue. ..and the food is boiling hot...you have been warned! The menu was a little confusing for first timers like ourselves in The Den with a single sheet and not a... More

We aren't regular visitors to Glasgow and took a taxi out from the centre to the Brewdog pub a few doors down for a drink, Someone had recommended Mother India to us earlier in the day so it made sense to combine the two. The interior is like nothing I've really experienced before - imagine a grocers shop in India... More

We were staying not far from this restaurant and we enjoyed the food so much that we went twice within our 3 night stay in Glagow! The food is delicious and not at all like any of the curries that we have enjoyed in other establishments. It It has a varied menu and is reasonably priced

Very pretty restaurant and fab staff. Food was great but sadly we made the wrong choice going for two chicken dishes that were pretty similar but this was our choice... But we still demolished them! Next time of like to try a lamb dish too. Staff were just the nicest which for me is the icing on the cake.

After an afternoon in the cinema we decided to treat ourselves and eat out. Whilst trying to decide where to go one of us remembered visiting Dining In a few years ago for lunch so we decided to try there for an evening meal and if all else failed knew we could get a takeway. Although the restaurant was busy... More
