I was a little concerned when we first entered the restaurant as it looked a little suspect. We had attempted to go to the main Mother India restaurant but they couldn't accommodate our group of 10 and sent us here. The food turned out to be very good and we weren't disappointed. The service, as noted by others, was pleasant... More

I went with my family for lunch; the food was good but service needs improvement. The ambience of the restaurant was average.

Food was very good, different from your normal 'Indian'. Setting was good but felt like we were a hindrance, an annoyance to the staff. Bill came and included was a £20 gratitude charge- wrong, I'm the customer and I decide whether the service warranted a tip of appreciation. In this case it didn't so it's no good frowning at me... Close to the end of Glasgow 2014 we were surprised at being able to get a late Friday evening booking for our party of six and we were certainly not disappointed! My companions included three English visitors and two from Australia and all were highly impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. From my point of view, having... More

I visited twice in the course of the Commonwealth Games and was well fed and watered on each occasion. The wood paneled first floor dining room is a very pleasant location. The food was good on each occasion and the service, maligned elsewhere, was fine. Not expensive and one I would certainly visit again.

We were there on a Monday lunchtime, can't fault the place at all (and I'm quite critical). Fantastic depth of flavour in every dish. Even the kid's (non-indian) grub was great!

Dropped by for a hot carry-out and later wished we hadn't. Premises were very busy and we were told 15 - 20 minute wait for the meal to be prepared - finally staggered out with our hot meal after 45 minutes of what looked like chaos behind the counter. Staff were pleasant but disorganised and the management looked like they... More

We thought we'd booked into the traditional Mother India and we're slightly disappointed when we turned up as this restaurant is fairly minimal in design - not "posh". We were given a quite limited menu and picked dishes that we'd never tried before. On speaking to the waitress more we were told that there was much more extensive menu but... More

We order a BBQ pack which was amazing. We gave a weeks notice of the order and was pick ed up as arranged time. The chicken lamb spiced fish and chilli prawns where all to die for. Staff are so helpful and friendly

If you consider that you go to a restaurant mainly for eating, this is a great place to be ... The food I had was superb, though not on the cheap side for Indian restaurants in Glasgow. But a little smile from the staff might help ...(Maybe because I am a lone traveler, and was occupying a table by myself... More
