Nice place for vegan food and music venue

The restaurant is in a small dodgy street right behind the central station. It's full vegan and there's so much choice! Tapas, salads, sandwiches and main meals. Unfortunately no fresh juices. I had the artichokes gnocchi, which was nice, but a bit too dry, there should have been more sauce. My... read more

This is a Vegan restaurant which is very popular in Renfield Lane which is easy to miss as it's up quite a quiet lane near Central Station. It was very busy so be prepared to wait 5-10 mins at lunchtime but there is a bar where you can sit to wait and the waitress was v good at keeping an eye... I had the artichokes gnocchi, which was nice, but a bit too dry, there should have been more sauce. My partner ordered 4 tapas, which was way too much,... More

To get here you do need to go down quite a seedy lane which is quite cool. It is a vegan restaurant with a lot of different choices and not just the standard veggie burgers and salads. We had a meze plate, soup and a sandwich to share. The meze plate was awesome. It had lots of different things on... More

Delayed with time to kill and fed up with listening to the station announcements I nipped around the corner on advice to have some lunch in more pleasant surroundings. Down an alley 2 minutes from Central Station is Stereo. Lovely roasted carrot soup and tapas. Proper puddings. Easy atmosphere with music. A lift so don't be put off by the... More

I work in Glasgow city centre and don't go out for lunch often but, when I do, it's either Stereo or La Lanterna. The food is invariably excellent, being fresh and inventive. Service is friendly and efficient. I love the grungey feel of the place. Mostly students/young people but suits like me don't feel out of place. My only grumble... More

we just happened to turn down an alley and ran into "Stereo." Their food is good, fresh and tasty. The beer runs from higher end to "cheap and cheerful."

We walked in on a busy evening (live gig about to start) but they managed to find a table for us and the food was great. Huge portions - we would probably have been fine with 4 of their mezze starters between us without needing a main course! But the mezze were all excellent (especially the grilled aubergine which was... More

I have been here several times on trips to Glasgow and I've never been disappointed. The staff are delightful, extremely helpful, polite and knowledgable of the menu and drinks. The Turkish pizza wrap is a firm favourite and the chips are some of the best Ive ever had. Everything on the menu is vegan which makes ordering easy, the specials... More

We went for a quick lunch. My husband took a taco dish which he liked very much. I had two tapas. The roasted aubergine was delicious: along with it came a fresh and spicy yoghurt dressing. Pity I don't live in Glasgow. Otherwise I would be a regular visitor.

It took us a while to find this place but we were delighted that we did! We only had a light lunch but the buffalo cauliflower and the sea-salt & rosemary polenta chips were to die for! Will definitely try it for dinner the next time we're in Glasgow.
