Have exceptional patience if you go here.

Have only been once but service so poor will not go back. Food o.k. But if you are there for anything less than a full meal you will tend to be ignored. Seems to be a Hyndland trend ( with exception of Nicks).

Quite the quirky menu in a gorgeous west end part of town. The food is delicious - a lot of options and they're all lovely - presentation and taste is second to none. Waiting staff are really friendly and helpful. Great for sitting outside too on a (rare) nice day in Glasgow. Will definitely be back

On arrival... staff chaos.. no record of my reservation. No table. Eventually we were given an unsuitable table, then moved to another table. Spoke to about 4 different serving staff re my booking.... one more diffident than the other.Ordered our food waited 30 minute for salads. The food was pretty dire, tough chicken strips (obviously a tired old hen) Tasteless... More

My family and I visit Epicures regularly and it seems that, from the experience which we are used to, some of these other reviews are either false or that, indeed in it's affluent location, the staff at Epicures of Hyndland have a tough gig! At weekends there is more often than not a little (worthwhile) wait at the door, so... More

was looking forward to lunch here, but I most certainly won't be returning. The service was truly awful- possibly the worst I have experienced. There seemed no shortage of staff, many of the servers were standing chatting to each other, yet we had to wait 25 mins for our soft drinks. There seemed to be no system- servers didn't seem... I looked forward to my trip to Epicures after walking past it many times. I arranged to have dinner here with two friends, however we left disappointed due to the poor service and mistakes with our meals. Although the restaurant was not full (i.e. the staff were not under pressure with a full house), we had to wait for 25... More

I found myself visiting this establishment twice in as many weeks and I have to say it was impressive on both occasions, if a little pricey. The coffee is excellent and they also have soya milk for the missus, the homemade scones with jam and clotted cream is `to die for' and we enjoyed their breakfast and lunch selections over... More

My first and last visit Sunday evening. Bad start when we were not offered the pre theatre menu even though it was promoted on the wall. Advised that this was not available an no reason provided. The very limited menu way over priced, ordered the lamb hover off the menu. We opted for chicken burger at £12.95, beef burger at... More

Tend to use this restaurant/bar for a quick drink on the way to the better restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, nothing is quick about the service and sadly we speak from lots of experiences so finally decided that enough was enough and we won't be going back. It should not take 25 minutes to organise a still drink and a... More
