Breakfast

Epicures is great for breakfast - good selection of eggs - coffee is also good. It was busy but not mobbed - and from other reviews would seem it is very popular - so I went thinking that was a good indicator - it seems that its popularity is probably more driven by location and food - not... read more

First of the bat I have been in Epicures twice now and from both experiences I cannot believe the amount of mixed reviews on here the place is really good. If you want fast food go to a burger bar indeed but the food here is worth the wait, Service is what I would term relaxed and discreet. I had... More

After two indifferent visits in the last few months, we had a lovely meal and a great time in Epicures. The new menu is lovely and the staff were great!!!!! Only grumble was the price of the steak which was very good but too expensive!!!!

E met friends here for dinner. The service was quite slow, but the food was quite good. No one was particularly excited by the menu, but we were all impressed with the food: Cream of tomato soup was yummy, rich tasty. The goat cheese and tomato salad was good, a ton of goat cheese, but I loved it. The daube... More

I visited Epicures for dinner on Saturday evening past and we got a table straight away without. A reservation which was great for the area. Our drinks took quite a while to arrive but no apology was made. I've been several times and this always seems to be an issue. I did enjoy the Hever Lee on draught. I had... More

Lovely surroundings with good food and drinks. Unfortunately, the staff were not very attentive. We were ignored when we first arrived along with other customers who were waiting patiently to be greeted. Eventually we were seated outside but where we were left waiting another 10 minutes without a menu. We had to ask eventually along with other tables who were... More

Ate here on two occasions - breakfast and lunch. Great coffee and poached eggs for breakfast and a lovely sandwich for lunch. The highlight was the meringue with cream and fruit. Lovely staff too!

Always busy and difficult to get seated . And if you have a buggy forget it. Went for coffee as we usually do, but last few times it's not been good . Walked away from a bad one no taste and my friends was practically white due to no coffee. Cakes are not covered and left open on a counter... More

Okay is not much of a description usually but this place really is just okay. It has West end prices but an appealing menu. The execution of the dishes didn't really come up to scratch. My friend and I ordered the same dishes: goats cheese/tomato/walnut salad followed by fillet of beef with mash. Where's the walnut? She said. Oh there's... More

Quite the quirky menu in a gorgeous west end part of town. The food is delicious - a lot of options and they're all lovely - presentation and taste is second to none. Waiting staff are really friendly and helpful. Great for sitting outside too on a (rare) nice day in Glasgow. Will definitely be back
