Pug grub served quickly

Straight forward pub grub served quickly in a lively pub. lots of TV screens. Good value but basic meals. Could be noisy when busy.

I like this pub and the food is decent pub grub but the last two visits have been below par. The latest visit on Thursday the 13th was poor. The Mac and cheese burger was missing both the bacon and coleslaw. Plus the burger was like a reheat. The baked potato was ridiculous. Tuna had developed a warm skin and... More

Along with INN Deep, this is one of the best places in West end where you can enjoy a pint of beer in the sun. Great prices as well.

It was okay didn't get food but plenty variety and drink seemed to be reasonable. Very busy. Cannot rate the toilets as didn't use them.

Nothing to write home about. Food is pretty tasty. I can definitely recommend the Warm Chocolate Fudge Cake. Prices are nice and cheap. Ideal place to grab food and a quick drink while you wait on The Stand opening.

This is a nice place. We are locals frequenting this place practically every Friday. Reasonably priced beer on the tap... Nachos sharer, chicken wings... It can get a bit crowded on a Friday night, especially if there is a game on...

After our last visit i had vowed not to go back but however gave them the benefit of the doubt. Ordered food again and it arrived as per normal all be it a bit greasy. Same server again, same attitude and foul mouth again. This place really needs to address their staff, especially as it transpires that the woman in... More

I have been to the old schoolhouse a few times before and enjoyed it, it is a nice place to sit and talk and has reasonably priced food and drink. However after my most recent visit I do not think I'll be back. One member of staff was extremely rude to my friends and I and we were not addressed... More

Lacks atmosphere and is set out like pub from the 90's. However does what it says on the tin. Decent offering without any glamour.
