Watch out for all the extras!!

This is a decent place we went for the pre theatre option for £12 including a glass of prosecco. On face value this sounds like a good deal but there are quite a few dishes which have a supplement charge and all side dishes are extra. In addition the kids menu is 9.99 for 2 courses, this does... read more

My 3 friends & I went here for a pre theatre dinner on a Friday evening. The staff were most welcoming & there was a young lad playing an acoustic guitar which was a nice touch. Service was quick & all the food we had was both hot & tasty. We also had the house white wine which was of... More

We went along earlier this month, we have been before but the experience was not great... Everywhere deserves a 2nd chance:-) Glad we did, this time the food and service was great, would recommend this to anyone that likes Italian food :-)

I work for around the corner from Teatro and have been twice for lunch. The food has always been faultless. The first time we went as a group of 5 and the second time we had a group of 8. In both instances we had our starter and main course served and finished within 45 minutes. The first time I... More

Decided on a nice wee Italian, looked nice from the outside.. Its cramped, barley enough space to move especially if you are stuck sitting at the side of the table ( which is how they have some of their tables for 2 set).. Food was bland, ordered Carbonara (not exactly hard to make or flavour) not a taste off it,... More

Tried this restaurant for the first time and was not disappointed. The pre theatre menu is good value with a wide choice within the courses. The service and ambience were excellent and as it only seat 40 - 50 the atmosphere is intimate and friendly. Got a discount card from our waiter and would recommend and return.

Went on the spur of the moment with my daughter (the gig we were planning on going to was cancelled). It was pretty late and the place was empty, wasn't sure if they would even serve us. Couldn't have been more wrong, we were welcomed with open arms. The restaurant was impeccable, lovely fresh linen tablecloths and napkins. It has... More

Went for pre theatre - good selection and good food - however all side dishes are extra charge. Also two course pre theatre does not include main and dessert - either starter and main or starter and dessert! Too many tables for small restaurant - obviously maximizing Kings theatre location -ended up at table right outside gents toilets and getting... More

Had a pre theatre dinner here before the theatre. There was a good choice on the menu and we settled for the calamari, it was lovely. For mains I had the meatballs and my daughter had the carbonara. Both mains were beautiful and filling. I had a large glass of rose which was well chilled and delicious. The service was... More
