Nice but a little tired

Food was "ok", the pre theatre menu is good value, not brilliant but presented well and tasty enough. Staff were attentive and pleasant. What lets it down is the actual restaurant. Its just a little tired and grubby. Decor is dated. Seating is scuffed and marked. Toilet seat was stained as well... read more

Sunday night dinner, great choice including gluten free. I would advise mentioning this whilst booking. The stairs down are a bit steep but it is worth it.

My mother and I came here for a meal before a show. Front of house were efficient and managed to seat us without a reservation as well as being full of banter the whole time. My pasta was under seasoned but overall the food was fine. The kitchen should up its game to match their professionalism. Not that its bad,... More

Our first visit as we were going to a show at the Kings. The pre theatre menu was excellent. Food delicious. I had the calamari starter and the sea bass which was beautifully presented. The service was the most efficient I have come across without being rushed. Well worth a visit.

Excellent food, excellent service. Pre theatre menus are good, with a decent range. Can't fault it. Not sure I didn't know about this wee place.

My 3 friends & I went here for a pre theatre dinner on a Friday evening. The staff were most welcoming & there was a young lad playing an acoustic guitar which was a nice touch. Service was quick & all the food we had was both hot & tasty. We also had the house white wine which was of... More
