had pre booked this restaurant on reading reviews, monday night so was very quiet, staff attendant, but think food was quite bland for a reputable italian.

Thought I had got a deal through 5pm getting 10% off bill . Had pre theatres deal for £12.95 per person . So has the pre theatre menu and ordered 2 large glasses of wine and some garlic bread with main . Food was ok . Very rushed and felt like taking up space . Bill was more than expected... More

although we had not booked a table the manager fitted us in before our visit to the theatre & we enjoyed a delightful meal. I went for the fillet steak & was cooked to absolute perfection & my wife went for the Italian mixed grill & the fact that her plate was empty tells you how much she enjoyed it.

I thought I had purchased a good deal with a pre-theatre meal and theatre tickets but this was not a positive experience. The waiter was snappy. Unsure of why the meal cannot consist of main and desert! Then to be hit with £4.90 for 2 cokes and a service charge on top, which in hindsight I should have refused to... More

When a restaurant can take a booking at 1130 for a party of 22 at 1230 and feed them great food with marvellous service and have them ready to get back to work at 1330 then they are obviously very special. We'll be back.

My husband and I went in here before going to the theatre, we waited 15 mins before they asked for drinks, we had a bottle of wine which was lovely, we both had pizza and it had a soggy base as if it was a supermarket frozen one, and we weren't asked if needed anything else black pepper etc the... We had a group of 20 come to the restaurant for dinner (booked in advance) and we were seated fine altogether. My key concerns were with food quality and customer service. Food Quality: The set menu with two courses for £15.95 was £15 over priced for the quality of the food and the portion sizes. The pate portion was generous,... More

This had lovely food and fast service but was so cramped and made me feel claustrophobic would have been better fewer tables and seats especially because its in a basement with no windows

What a complete waste of time. Go to wetherspoons round the corner and save yourself money, the staff will most likely be kinder and you won't feel as disappointed. We turned up at about 5.30pm on a Thursday for a meal before we saw a show at the King's theatre. Greeted by a blonde waitress who clearly didn't want to... More

Sunday night dinner, great choice including gluten free. I would advise mentioning this whilst booking. The stairs down are a bit steep but it is worth it.
