Cute little place with really good scones

The place is a bit hard to find, and parking is an issue. But it's a nice little cafe at the Canal, if you sit at the window you will have a nice view. Very friendly owner, lovely woman. We had the 'afternoon tea for two' on a Groupon voucher, the scones were fresh and warm when we got them,... read more

After finding the deal online we thought we would take advantage of it and treat ourselves. Wasn't expecting anything as I've never been to this area before. We were so happy to find gorgeous cobbled streets, a stunning boat docked in the canal and a lovely friendly cafe. Staff were welcoming and food was gorgeous. Our deal was for a... More

I took my mum to Ocho on the canal for afternoon tea for my birthday last week. The place was clean and tidy and staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were served a selection of sandwiches and cake along with the most amazing home made scone with butter, cream and jam! I wasn't able to eat anything else for... More

Utterly outstanding and in a league all of its own. This hidden little gem is only a few minutes from the centre of Glasgow by foot - but it feels like it's in the middle of the countryside. A beautiful canal setting, great food, and extremely friendly staff render this an absolute must for visitors to Glasgow and a nice... More

Came here with 3 friends with a groupon deal which worked out to be less than £5 per head. As it was really cheap we weren't expecting anything amazing. The food was pretty average, I wasn't very fond of the sandwiches and the cakes were just ones that are bought in. But for the price it was okay. The woman... More

My wife and I paid our first visit to Ocho for Sparkling Afternoon Tea. From the minute we arrived, until we left the premises, we were treated to good tasting food, and good Glaswegien hospitality. Whoever mentioned "Glasgow rough" in earlier reviews, obviously doesn't know too much about Glasgow. Eleanor the owner , was very pleasant , and up for... More

Booked an afternoon tea for four. When I arrived someone had arrived without a booking and had been allocated our table by mistake. The staff could not have been more apologetic The food was plentiful and tasty but what set it apart from other places was the staff. They were attentive, friendly and helpful. The restaurant is situated at the... More
