I took my mum to Ocho on the canal for afternoon tea for my birthday last week. The place was clean and tidy and staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were served a selection of sandwiches and cake along with the most amazing home made scone with butter, cream and jam! I wasn't able to eat anything else for... More

Utterly outstanding and in a league all of its own. This hidden little gem is only a few minutes from the centre of Glasgow by foot - but it feels like it's in the middle of the countryside. A beautiful canal setting, great food, and extremely friendly staff render this an absolute must for visitors to Glasgow and a nice... More

Came to ocho cafe for afternoon tea for 6 with a group on deal. Wide range of sandwiches and cakes. Scones were lovely and service was brilliant from the minute we came till the minute we left

Came here with 3 friends with a groupon deal which worked out to be less than £5 per head. As it was really cheap we weren't expecting anything amazing. The food was pretty average, I wasn't very fond of the sandwiches and the cakes were just ones that are bought in. But for the price it was okay. The woman... More

My wife and I paid our first visit to Ocho for Sparkling Afternoon Tea. From the minute we arrived, until we left the premises, we were treated to good tasting food, and good Glaswegien hospitality. Whoever mentioned "Glasgow rough" in earlier reviews, obviously doesn't know too much about Glasgow. Eleanor the owner , was very pleasant , and up for... More

Booked an afternoon tea for four. When I arrived someone had arrived without a booking and had been allocated our table by mistake. The staff could not have been more apologetic The food was plentiful and tasty but what set it apart from other places was the staff. They were attentive, friendly and helpful. The restaurant is situated at the... More

Visited on an afternoon deal with high expectations as have tried lots of afternoon teas both on offer and at usually price. For the price paid this was fine. Scones were lovely, sandwiches not as good as most others and one of the cakes was a shop bought Swiss roll cut in a fancy shape. The open kitchen means you... More

Visited today after having a treatment in the spa next door. We hadn't booked but we were made very welcome. The owner/manager pointed out a great afternoon tea deal for us and we were not disappointed. Cakes and sandwiches were made fresh and the scones were delicious. Staff were warm, friendly and very accommodating and this permeated to other customers... More
