A belated review of our experience at La Famiglia, we have eaten a few times here and so I was happy to recommend it as a venue for a party of 10 to celebrate a double graduation earlier this year. We spent a wonderful evening here, the food was delicious, as always, and the staff were very kind and attentive.... More

Starter of squid was one of the best starters I've had in a long time. Bursting with taste. The pasta was good, but having just returned from Rome, not quite as good as what I've recently been used to: for some reason nobody can cook pasta to the texture the Italians can. The service was timely, if a tiny bit... More

We went for the early menu this time, good service not rushed and nice timing between courses. I had the ravioli as a starter which was lovely, great taste and then the crab linguine which was up to the usual high standard followed by a coffee. The decor is very good, lovely relaxing ambiance; the staff were helpful and friendly.... More

La Famiglia is situated in a nondescript row of shops in the mainly residential area of Kelvindale in the West End of the city. From our delightful experience, it is well worth seeking out. The ambience of the restaurant is comfortable and relaxed, modern decor in the dining area, framed photos of Italian scenes and the family members that own... More

I can't say a bad thing about La Famiglia - the food easily measures up to any michelen star restaurant I've been to without the price tag to go with it. The service is excellent and options fabulous. It's well worth coming off the beaten track to experience it!

I never write reviews but the meal we had this evening in La Famiglia has moved me to write this one. Imaginative twists on classic Italian dishes and excellent service made for a really lovely meal and experience. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was impeccable. Three courses for £16.95 midweek was great value and we all left... More

Yet again La Famiglia provokes me to actually write a review. It's the only place that ever does! This was an absolutely perfect meal which was actually quite exciting! I don't normally order things like squid but having been here a few times and been blown away by the attention to detail and creativity of the dishes I felt I... More
