Went here for lunch, what can I say.......... Nice environment, friendly staff, ok food, nothing spectacular, expensive for what it is. I did have reason to complain, as I was served an over cooked baked potato, this was deducted from the bill, without argument, can't fault them there. I think there are better cafe's in Glasgow, competition is fierce in... More

Popped into this cafe for breakfast. There were 5 of us and the menu was sufficiently varied to please everyone. A couple of us had the full breakfast ....Scottish style! and we were not disappointed. Mugs of tea too!! Great find and certainly would recommend.

Decided against the ubiquitous hotel breakfast and have just finished a very nice full breakfast and have ordered another coffee. Arrived at 8.55 and unlike a lot of places, the doors were not firmly bolted shut until precisely 9 am. Was welcomed in to a very clean and bright basement area. Seven minutes later and my breakfast was in front... More

We ate breakfast each of three days at Cafe wander. Despite being in a basement, the cafe is light and airy and lined with local artists' products (available for sale). The staff are very pleasant, making time to make their customers feel at ease and keen to chat/ recommend. We tested most of their breakfast offerings and all were excellently... More

Lovely wee place with very tasty lentil soup and friendly staff. I really liked the crafts on the wall giving it a friendly, homely, arty look. Waitress was very efficient and attentive. I really liked that my white coffee came with such a nice jug of milk on the side so I could put in as much milk as I... More

Popped in for lunch with my friend and my granddaughter, we had a great lunch as usual with great service from the staff who always make you feel so welcome. We all opted for French Toast which was fantastic and would definitely recommend this dish. They also supply paper and crayons for the wee ones with the resulting art works... More

Stumbled upon this downstairs cafe on a business trip to Glasgow. Had the full breakfast for £4.95 and it was great. All cooked fresh and piping hot, the black pudding was especially good too - real flavoursome and probably the best I've tasted Staff are all very polite and accommodating. Hard to fault
