Description: Situated on Mitchell St, Barolo Grill is two minutes walk from Central Station, Queen Street Station and the Buchanan St Underground Station. Ideal for a business lunch in one of our comfortable booths, celebrations and large parties, graduations and even just to take the weight off your feet while shopping with a well earned glass of Prosecco. The clue is in the name, as they say - and Barolo Grill is no exception. We pride ourselves on our top quality Scottish steaks, meats and seafood, cooked to perfection, and served with a contemporary Italian touch. Our extensive wine list offers the best in Italian varietals, and of course a superb selection of Barolo wines. We also specialise in superb focaccia and pizza, baked in our traditional Italian pizza oven and topped with fresh ingredients.

Sat in the Barolo Grill's bar area outside in Gordon Street for a sunny day. Server was friendly and attentive. Drinks brought fairly quickly considering they had to be transferred from the restaurant to the outside space...personally I probably would have dropped them. Would return to the same spot again if sunny and if not would vist restaurant for some... More

Visited the open air bar on Friday evening with friends. Lovely setting apart from the loud busker who wasn't all that talented. Service was excellent, great choice of beers and spirits. Were advised by waitress that as it was nearing 10pm we would be welcome to continue at the bar/restaurant around the corner. Went round directly and looked to order... More

Visited Barolo on Saturday 14th June for a birthday celebration. The food was excellent and the service was second to none. Everything was well presented and tasted fabulous. I certainly would recommend Barolo to anyone who appreciates good food and wine. We'll definitely be back.

Beautifully interior decorated with spacious booths for intimate dining. The service from relaxed smiling waiters was impeccable, neither too friendly not too stuffy. We chose the two course lunch menu and my friend devoured her haggis balls while I enjoyed the bruschetta although it didn't exactly sing to me. The tomatoes were, unfortunately, more Tesco than Tuscan. The rigatoni main... More

Just returned from Barolo Grill in Glasgow where we went to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary (no jokes about getting less for murder, please). We had a lovely meal, three excellent courses from the set menu. Each course was better than the previous one. The service was very pleasant and efficient without being intrusive- mostly young Italian girls. Everything was expertly... More

Business lunch for 2 on July 1st. Shown to a table promptly. Order taken promptly and 2 lovely glasses of Verdicchio served by delightful "new start" waitress from Belfast. Starters of Calimari and soup arrived reasonably promptly and were both good. After that? Woeful delay for mains despite two reminders. Main courses (veal and pasta) average.Aimless and unfocussed staff wondered... More

I visited last night for a meal as part of a group of four. The food was reasonable although nothing special but to charge £5 a drink is a bit greedy in my opinion and left a bitter taste in my mouth after receiving the bill. That said the staff were attentive and gave good service, just a pity the... More

My wife & I popped into the BG 'Marquis' area in Gordon st today for Lunch. Staff are very pleasant, we had a light lunch of Pasta & a Burger, a large Sauvignon & Barolo. Pasta was nice and Burger was amazing with hand cut Chips. Service was good. At £42 I felt the value was good.
