Description: Situated on Mitchell St, Barolo Grill is two minutes walk from Central Station, Queen Street Station and the Buchanan St Underground Station. Ideal for a business lunch in one of our comfortable booths, celebrations and large parties, graduations and even just to take the weight off your feet while shopping with a well earned glass of Prosecco. The clue is in the name, as they say - and Barolo Grill is no exception. We pride ourselves on our top quality Scottish steaks, meats and seafood, cooked to perfection, and served with a contemporary Italian touch. Our extensive wine list offers the best in Italian varietals, and of course a superb selection of Barolo wines. We also specialise in superb focaccia and pizza, baked in our traditional Italian pizza oven and topped with fresh ingredients.

We dined here in June 2014. We sat outside in the canopied extension. The food was fantastic as were the cocktails. Staff very attentive. The entire dining experience was excellent.

Visited recently with my wife for a birthday lunch. Hidden not far away from the Buchanan street Barolo is easy to find and well worth a visit. The service was great and our waiter was fantastic even throwing in a couple of glasses of prosecco as my wife let them know it was my birthday. The food was excellent, fantastic... More

I loved the service, you are shown to a table immediately and you only have to raise your hand for someone to attend you at once, it really is that good. The food is very good, not only Italian but international too and the restaurant prides themselves on the quality and freshness of the food they supply. I was there... More

Popped in for the Wednesday evening steak goodness last night. We received a warm welcome and where given a great booth seat. Despite it only being 8pm we where told that the cut of steak we wanted was sold out. Our disappointment was expressed to our waitress then on to the manager. Despite initially being unmoved by our disappointment the... More

Had a pre theatre meal here on a Saturday night, excellent menu choice! We waited quite a while for our wine, out starters arrived and still no wine. Food was of a very high standard and delicious. Delighted with the bill and will be back very soon.

the food was delicious, I had smoked salmon in filo pastry with tarter sauce and rocket salad, then steak with new potatoes, green beans and hollandaise sauce and for dessert I had sticky toffee pudding. the waitress was friendly and the service was fast. the table was a comfy cubicle and it felt private. I would definitely go back again.... More

We had a few hours to fill between athletic sessions at the Commomwealth Games. This is a gem of a place indoors as opposed to the terrace outside. The food was very good, the staff helpful and professional and the wine was not bad either. All in all a great little find.

2nd August went for a wee romantic meal and was impressed with this restaurant. No fuss made just a pleasant relaxing meal taken in a good atmosphere. Service was really good as was the quality of the food. Not pretending to be something they were not just good honest Italian food. We were not rushed and were able to take... More
