Went for a meal here and would definitely recommend it. I had king Prawn achari and the prawns were succulent and not in the least bit tough as you usually find. one of the party had the bhoona chicken chopped and she said it was really tender. The restaurant is small so it is very cosy, the way they used... More

The Alishan Restaurant has been my families local Indian for as long as I can remember and I thought it was about time that I put down how I think this is the best Indian restaurant in Glasgow. We went in on a Friday night, and whilst slightly busy, we were able to get a table without making a reservation.... More

I must say without a doubt this is one of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten from. The decor is a bit retro however the food most certainly makes up for that. I would highly recommend the chicken bhoona with the depapati rice, it's well and truly to die for. Also I would recommend the bottle of king cobra... More

I'l lived in the area for years and had never tried this place. After a series of disappointing curries from local indians I went here on recommendation. Best curry I've had in years.

Small, basic decor but really good Indian food. The dishes we had the peppers etc still had that nice wee crunch that signified to me that food was freshly prepared and the flavours were amongst the best we have experienced in an Indian restaurant. Felt welcome and staff looked after us well.

been going to this restaurant for years and have not found one better yet. The food is amazing tried many of them and not been let down yet. Ali and Chico are great they always make a point of speaking to you and have even given us things to try for free. Love it so much that when we're back... More

We were a group of 8 having a family meal. I must confess to being a bit dubious as the exterior looked rather drab and interior typical of a 1980's Indian restaurant. I couldnt have been more wrong. Appearances were very deceptive.. Each and every plate of food served was exquisite. Lamb tikka was to die for and the family... More
