My daughter & I went to St Judes in Bath Street, Glasgow for afternoon tea. We were shown to a table upstairs, decor was ok, loos clean and the service was very good. Now for the down side - we were given a glass of fizz when we were seated. Shortly after the waitress brought us the stand of sandwiches,... More

Went here just for afternoon tea. The place was dirty. There was a hole in the ceiling from which water was dripping. We sat outside the tables were dirty and sticky. The floor was coveted in fag ends. When food arrived tasted as though it had been made and lying for a long time. Was not impressed with standards. The... More

My daughter and I used a Groupon Voucher for an "intoxicating afternoon tea with four cocktails mixed at the table and served in a teapot".....we never saw a teapot yet!!!! We expected a "tearoom" environment but it was nothing more than a basement bar lit by bare lightbulbs and candles on the table. We were given a glass of Prosecco... More

After reading reviews on here we were not looking forward to afternoon tea at The Saint however we were pleasantly surprised. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews but I suppose people are more likely to want to review when they have had a bad experience over a positive one. We were greeted and shown to our... The food was fine but the service was so slow and gave the impression we were an inconvenience rather than customers!

My husband and I treated ourselves to a voucher for Afternoon Tea at the Intoxicating Tea Rooms within The Saint on Bath Street. To begin with, we entered using the hotel entrance and were greeted warmly then directed to a staff stairwell to access the basement restaurant. Here, were were greeted as if we were aliens, would a smile and... More

It wasn't busy... almost empty in fact. The beer was good, waitressing was good... but when you order two steaks medium rare - and they come out well done... you know there is something fundamentally wrong. To be fair they offered to make us new steaks - but we were starving so just battled through with the ones we had.... More

I had high expectations of this restaurant after viewing their website and menu. However, I was very disappointed. One the night we visited, we were, in fact, the only people in the restaurant. Despite this, service was very very slow. The 4 members of staff on duty appeared to prefer to chat at the bar than look after their customers.... More
