Expanded Menu

Been a few months since we last visited Cafe Source and the menu has been expanded....£25 each for three courses including a bottle of wine per couple, still great value. Excellent food once again & service.

I was taken here for my birthday by family and friends, five of us in total. The cafe is gorgeous and we had plenty of room at our table. We all had the pre theatre meals, which were all delicious. The daube of beef in particular was so tender, and the prices are very reasonable. The desserts were heavenly too!... More

Unassuming from the exterior, this wee gem sits under St Andrew in The Square. We booked a table but on this night we probably didn't have to. Immediately greeted by a friendly member of staff we were shown to our table and given the right amount of time to peruse the menu. We were eating from the Pre-Theatre menu and... More

My husband and I had a fantastic meal at cafe source. Cafe source is a beautiful venue too. My husband had Cullen skink and I had haggis pakora followed by sea bass and chicken then finished off with cheesecake and the most fabulous ice cream. I would highly recommend this venue for a meal.

Located in an old church, this is truly heaven. The food is fantastic, the service attentive but not in your face, in a word brilliant. This was my first visit and will certainly not be my last, we had the pre theatre menu and was delivered freshly cooked and beautifully prrsented, for those with a sweet tooth the sticky toffee... The cullen skink is awesome! Nice place to get a drink and relax either before or after a gig either in the venue above, St Andrews in the Square, or in one of the nearby venues, such as the Tron Theatre or

The setting of the restaurant is really nice. We went for three courses and a bottle of wine from the set dinner menu. The haggis pakora and trio of terrines were nice. The braised beef for main was so tender it fell apart without using a knife. My duck breast was nice but a little overcooked and my garlic mash... More

I had new found family arriving from overseas and decided to make a booking at Cafe Source. There were 24 of us which could have made things very difficult. However, I had to e-mail the restaurant several times for various reasons and they were fantastic and very accommodating, Lorn in particular made everything run smoothly. He kept me well informed,arranged... More
