This is one of my favourite restaurants in Glasgow. The food is always outstanding. Especially their Cullen Skink - the best in Glasgow! Service is friendly and welcoming.

Called early in the week and my managed to take advantage of a special offer: a good (but reduced) menu choice of starter, main and desert plus an in effect 'free' or at least very cheap bottle of Chilean house wine: excellent value and excellent food, friendly service highly recommended.

This place obviously has changed waiting and kitchen staff. The worst place we have visited. If you are visiting for the Commonwealth avoid completely. Poor food. Poor service. Not even worth a visit. Waste of money. No personality and rude staff. Never had such bad service in my life. Appalling place. Please avoid.

This is a little gem. It is quite hidden, if it wasn't for trip advisor I would have never found this place. It's small, cosy & different to most places in glasgow. The interior and exterior are lovely! The food was to a high standard and beautifully presented. The service staff where great & I can't knock anything about this... More

While in Scotland I just had to try some authentic haggis. While touring the Glasgow Cathedral, my wife asked one of the guides where we could get some good haggis. She recommended the Cafe Source which was right on our hop-on, hop-off bus route. If we hadn't been told about it, we probably would have missed it. Nestled in the... More

Third time here and my vege main course was inspired and truly delicious. Cauliflower cheese risotto may sound too rich and heavy but it was amazing! Perfect balance of creamy and crunch and tastes. The meat eating others in my party were well impressed with theirs too. Taylor's bread makes any soup good but the Cullen skink was apparently great.... More

After my daughters graduation we wanted somewhere special for a celebratory meal. It had to be something different from the curry/pasta houses that abound in the city centre and this place is just what we were looking for. Don't let the word Cafe in the name fool you, this is a Restaurant and a damn good one at that. It's... More

Stuck in Glasgow and needed somewhere to eat close to the centre. TripAdvisor on mobile showed me this place about 5 mins walk away, and am I glad I did! Enter down the steps at the right habnd side of the church. Very dark interior, but surprisingly spacious once inside. Have a good hard look at the menu - its... More

This is where I first tasted Haggis, neeps and tatties as well as cullen skink. The service, food and atmosphere in this restaurant are all top notch! This is the #7 stop on the hop-on, hop-off bus in Glasgow...and the only reason to stop at #7!
