We first came here in December, and have been tying to book a return table since. Finally managed to book a table for a reunion dinner for our diverse family. It is hard to comment further, other than to reiterate. This is a wonderful establishment. Really friendly service, a great menu full of surprises and twists to the dishes, and... More

You need to book. This place is small and very friendly. The food is true to Scotland with outstanding flavours. You get a good portion for your money. I had chicken breast stuffed with Haggis wrapped in Parham, the chicken took onboard the flavours of the Haggis and ham. The food was nice and hot, staff very helpful and polite.... More

Fantastic staff, amazing food -especially the desserts. Make sure you leave room for them....too good to miss. Good things come in small packages, and this is a good thing. Only disappointment is the lack of draught beer but that is probably because they would not be serving the volume they needed to with the small number of tables they have.... More

Been meaning to go for a long time and eventually got around to it at the weekend, well impressed it lived up to all the hype from TA reviews, excellent menu with a really good choice of some fairly traditional Scottish cuisine in addition to other dishes like stroganoff, lasagne etc with some twists. Everything was excellently cooked with good... More

Went here as it was recommended by a friend and me and my boyfriend went for lunch. There was one more table in but the restaurant is really small so a couple more tables and it would be full. We ordered from the waitress who was really nice and had soup and a sandwich and my boyfriend had chicken. It... More

Lots and lots of positive reviews, so I had high expectations when I visited. I wasn't disappointed. Excellent food, beautifully cooked and good portions. Very friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. Very easy to see why this place is consistently top of the reviews for restaurants in Glasgow. I would recommend booking early, as its small

I've been to Black Sheep twice now and both times have been brilliant. The first time, my friend and I received excellent service. We'd managed to squeeze in last minute, and although we were told on the phone they'd need the table back after an hour and a half, they in no way rushed us. We received excellent service both...
