I first visited the Black Sheep Bistro shortly after it opened, when I lived pretty much over the road and went a few times, however hadn't been for a couple of years before our visit on Easter Sunday. I immediately regretted leaving it so long; two years wasted! Firsty, should mention two things that come up in most reviews. One,... More

Tends to be full days in advance - we got lucky and phoned just after a cancellation - superb meal as ever - but save space for the deserts - all home made

We hadn't been for a while and thought we would treat ourselves to a nice Easter lunch and we were not disappointed! I had the smoked salmon rosti which was delicious and had a lovely citrus dressing, the haddock with Parma Ham was so tasty and the accompanying vegetables were superb. The desserts are to die for I had the... More

Ate here with a group of friends recently and was very pleased with the quality of the food and the service provided to us. We were a group of six and all enjoyed the food and the ambiance. A very good selection of dishes available. Staff were attentive and polite. Will return again in the future

I have reviewed the Black Sheep Bistro several times but just felt the need to review again. As it was my birthday, I was asked where I would like to go and, without hesitation, wanted to go to my favourite place. We had a table for 9 and, once again, had a superb meal. The staff are amazing, nothing is... More

Had a very enjoyable meal on Sunday at this nice little restaurant, the food was very good had two starters soup and scallops and Stornaway black pudding it was excellent and not over salted as food often is. Will certainly go again. Reservation on Sundays is essential.

Went to this place last weekend with my dad and flatmate. I knew by reading reviews that I needed to book in advance which I did. It was surprisingly very quiet this Sunday. Decoration is very homely and you can clearly see a great attention to detail is given at all time. Waitresses were very nice, making sure we were... More

This is a small but cosy bistro with great staff a huge menu and wonderful puddings. Book it as very popular just down the road from Firhill the home of... More

My wife and I have been fortunate to eat at all 10 of TA's top Glasgow's restaurants, but BSB is tops for us!! The menu is very extensive - 3 choices of soups, 9 for main course, and 11 for desserts Food is excellent - portion sizes a bit big, as a previous reviewer noted, but easier to leave than... More
