Great wee place. Not to be missed.

I went here as part of a group of four. It was a nice intimate setting. We were seated very quickly and the servers were very attentive throughout. I had the fish and chips which was very good. My girlfriend opted for two starters, the goat cheese tart and the scallops. Both looked, and I'm told... read more

We visited as a party of 6 booked well in advance. I have been trying to get into the Black Sheep Bistro for a while but usually last minute. After visting I can understand why its so busy based on the size of the restaurant and the quality of food/service. Book in advance! THe restaurant is small but is decorated... More

I suppose one of the things you wonder when you book a place with such great reviews is will it live up to those reviews? The answer in this case is a very definite yes. This place is lovely and cosy with fabulous staff. The service from start to finish was excellent. The food was amazing - my husband is... More

Myself and a few friends went for dinner at the black sheep last night and the food was great, the staff were really friendly and very attentive as well. We ended the meal with a mountain of desserts and although our eyes were bigger than our bellies every one was delicious, make sure you have the sticky toffee pudding it... More

Ate here with family and friends, service was excellent, food amazing, great choice and scrumptious desserts. Will definitely visit again. Top tip would be to save some room for the amazing desserts!!

"Not a problem". {But an eighth would have been hard} Sunday afternoon/evening and it's hoaching but the pace and style of service, the quality of the food and the magical presentation... More

Desperate to use a voucher we had been given, we visited this small, friendly venue with great expectations. These were met and much more. Friendly, efficient staff, extensive menu and outstanding flavours made this the first visit of many I'm sure. In spite of being stuffed after the mains, the mini desserts were too tempting and wow!!! Thanks for a... More

We have visited here on several occasions and have absolutely loved it and have written brilliant reviews for it. We went on Friday 15th January and we were really looking forward to it. On arrival we were seated but then it took 10mins before we even got a menu. Said to waitress we wanted to order our meal, she replied,I will... More
