My husband and I ate here at the weekend, it was our first visit but we will both be back....at least a few times I imagine! From the outside the bistro doesn't look much at all but once you step in the relaxed atmosphere hits you, as do the smells from the kitchen. To start we had crab cakes, and... More

Rated one of the best restaurants in Glasgow, and for a good reason. I had the best Cullen skink I have ever tasted followed by a wonderful dish of balmoral chicken. With wine and dessert, the bill came to about £60 for two people. Maybe not for a budget meal but absolutely fantastic value for a nice evening meal compared... More

I booked the Bistro for a special birthday celebration for family and friends. We had exclusive use of the restaurant. The staff were very accommodating in letting family in to decorate the restaurant beforehand and the table set-up was perfect for a large group (23 people). The service and food was amazing and they catered really well for my three... More

Four of us had dinner here. Lovely informal and friendly service from our waitress. Two of us had haddock, one had beef stroganoff, one had chicken wrapped in ham. Everything was perfect! We then had cheese board which had a great selection of delicious cheeses and a trio of desserts to share. We will definitely return.

We ordered lamb shank and crab cake which are both delicious but the most amazing thing about black sheep is their dessert plate! You've gotta try it.
