Very friendly place, where food is outstanding and portions are ready for the hungriest. Make sure you leave enough room for the desserts, they are a must try!!! The black sheep beer is very good also

We went to the Black Sheep Bistro to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We have never been to this restaurant before and after reading so many positive reviews on Trip Advisor we decided to give it a go. And I am glad we did! What an amazing little place. First to none customer service, delicious food at very affordable price.... More

Went to dinner here with my husband a twin teenage daughters. Had never been before but will most definitely be back! Small but perfectly formed in everyway from the surroundings, service, choice through to the wonderful food which arrived in generous quantities, not to mention very reasonably priced. This place has it all! If I had to be really picky... More

Visited on Saturday for lunch with husband and friends. Friendly service and fabulous home cooked food. the steak pie was delicious and the portions were huge. Made a mistake by having a starter which meant I had no room to try the desserts which all sounded amazing. In saying that I've never been presented with so much delicious smoked salmon... More

Been wanting to try here for such a long time and didn't disappoint. Great dishes all tasting fresh and made with love. The mini desserts are also amazing but i can't wait to eat an individual puff candy meringue dessert. Wine selection also surprisingly good and reasonably priced. The best highlight here is the friendly service from knowledgable and homely... More

I can understand the reasons for the high rating. The service is friendly and efficient, the seating area though small is effectively utilised so you're not on top of the table next to you, menu is solid, if a little pork heavy [both the fish and chicken courses on our visit were wrapped in bacon]. Food was tasty and plentiful,... More

Visited this astounding bistro recently as a party of five (four adults and one child). All I can really say is magnificent meal and wonderful staff. You have to try this place. The portions are large and you certainly won't leave feeling hungry. Whatever you do don't leave without sampling the dessert platter it's amazing!
