Really disappointed, booked on Saturday night for lunch on Sunday. Travelled 90 miles to discover they would only accept cash payments due to telephone line problem which they knew about on Saturday morning. As we had only credit cards and no debit cards or cash on us we were offered no alternative - surely we could have been informed when... More

I visited Cail Bruich with my husband, first impressions the decor is nice and the staff very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the pigeon as a started and the Chateaubriand for my main course. The pigeon was delicious and the Chateaubriand was cooked to perfection. I can honesty say that I enjoyed every mouthful. I will return to this restaurant... More

The food is always very good with little extras such as haggis bon-bon appetizers and a cep amuse bouche included. It's less pretentious than it sounds! Drinks are a little on the expensive side, beware which gin you choose! Serving staff are friendly and efficient. The tasting menu gives you the opportunity to try something a little different, although it... More

Delicious food, attention to detail, and exciting seasonal flavours. Its a bit of an adventure eating here, and I often try things I wouldn't elsewhere due to the exceptional cooking. The service is superb without being OTT. The market menu at lunch times is incredibly good value and you are never made to feel like you have taken the cheap... More

The tasting menu was a delight from start to finish. Top quality ingredients were obviously used to create wonderful dishes. Although all absolutely delicious, the final dish of plum souffle was to die for. Service is very friendly and efficient. Never had anything other than an excellent meal in Cail Bruich. Thoroughly recommend,

We took elderly relatives from the outer Hebrides for a special meal in the early evening. The market menu suited everyone and the very high quality of the food was remarked on throughout the meal. The time we had the table for was rather tight but was made up for by the excellent value of the market menu and the... More

We absolutely love Cail Bruich, it is by far our favourite restaurant in Glasgow, and possibly anywhere else too. We have eaten at some lovely Michelin Star restaurants, and the food at Cail Bruich is definitely up there with the best of them! What makes it stand out for us is the atmosphere, it is relaxed and informal, yet the... More
