2nd time just as good

Visited for the second time on a Friday night. Previously we had enjoyed the 'tasting menu' and we elected to choose this again. We were not disappointed . Although it had only been 3 months since our previous visit the menu & matched wines were deliciously different . For me I can't understand... read more

Having read mainly great reviews of this restaurant, we were really looking forward to Sunday lunch. The menu is very last decade with each dish described by its main ingredient, eg scallop, with a list of ingredients below. That's fine if the waiting staff provide an explanation of the dish when it arrives. Had that happened, my partner wouldn't have... More

We've been here a few times and even though the wife is fussy(plain food), she manages to find something to eat. It can be very busy, so it is best to book a table.

I've been here a couple of times, once a la carte and once for the tasting menu. Service is friendly, relaxed but very attentive. The food was excellent on both occasions. I took the wine pairings with the tasting menu which was a lovely selection of wine, although the price makes it a bit more of an extravagant treat than... More

Chose a meal from the A La Carte dinner menu here on a busy Friday evening. It was our first visit. The food was fantastic: well presented, full of flavour, portion size ideal. Between the four of us we sampled a good range of the menu and everything was perfect. The staff were welcoming, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and, despite... More

Our second visit for the tasting menu. Once again, everything presented to us hit the mark, a truly well balanced combination of dishes and flavours. So difficult to pick a highlight but the steak tartare does deserve a special mention. The service was impeccable from every member of the team, so knowledgable and passionate about their food. Thank you again... More

We went here a while ago but it was unforgettable. From the moment we entered until we left we were the most important people in the restaurant. The food was no different to the service, excellent. Great value for the quality of food, wine and the waiter we had advised us on the menu and so helped our overall experience,... More

Went for the tasting menu and what a treat. Dish after dish of exceptionally tasty and beautifully presented food. Service was outstanding. A highlight of my trip to Dublin. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Four of us went for lunch at Cail Bruich on the recommendation of a cheffy friend. He's normally pretty good with his advice and this was no exception!
