My wife and went to this restaurant having read the reviews on trip advisor, we weren't disappointed. Food was superb and the atmosphere was equally as good. We had the 3 course market menu which represented excellent value considering the standard, look forward to trying one of the taster menu options.

We tried the 5 course tasting menu with a selection of wines to compliment each dish and what a wonderful experience we had. Each dish was wonderfully presented and tasted Devine. The wines were spot for each dish. The service was great, attentive and efficient without being overpowering. The ambience was too great. The only item I wouldn't try again... More

Ate here with friends and decided to treat ourselves to the 7 course taster menu. We couldn't have chosen better. Every dish we were served was cooked to perfection and presented in a way that was very attractive indeed. Nice to see such attention to detail as we do all tend to "eat with our eyes" first. Each dish was... More

This was one of the nicest meals I have eaten in my life. I don't have words to describe how good the food was, apart from "wow!". I wouldn't eat there on a Friday night again though. The room was horribly noisy. Mostly due to 1 lady at a table of 6, I suspect, who was so noisy that everyone... More

I had a fantastic time in Cail Bruich with their tasting menu and paired wine offering. The food was seasonal and fresh, cooked and presented beautifully. The staff were knowledgeable on all the dishes and the sommelier top class. Despite my apprehension at a 7 course menu it was sized and timed in such a fashion I was comfortable getting... More

Hello Robert, Thank you for taking time out to write us a nice review. I'm very pleased to hear you had a great time and that the apprehension you felt beforehand wasn't realised in the meal itself! I'll pass on the great feedback to the staff too, they really do a great job. Thanks again, Chris More

We regularly visit Cail Bruich for special occasions and to treat ourselves. The food has never disappointed, I'm always willing to try things I might not otherwise because their judgement is always spot on, ingredients are always wonderfully fresh and seasonal. In my experience the best restaurant in Glasgow by some distance. Very good value for the quality on offer.

OK, as you gather from the title I have got to to find fault somewhere- So you got it -no shortbread or tablet- That's my only negative comment. Staff were very friendly in a supportive rather than "matey" way- excellent. Little snacks- Excellent. Cep veloute- Excellent. Sea Bass- Excellent ( until i got a bit of aniseed which i dislike,... Hi John Thank you for your kind words. Next time it will be 100%. We'll try and make sure of it. But I think on any day I would take 99%! Very happy to read you enjoyed the food and service. We have a great front of house team and they really compliment the great kitchen team we have too.... More

My boyfriend and I had the 7 course taster menu for a birthday celebration. The food was excellent, interesting and delicious, and the service was great.

Visited Cail Bruich again and delighted to say that the meal came up to expectation - as usual. Service is assured and non intrusive, staff knowledgeable and happy to chat while keeping an eye on what is happening at other tables. Food is delicious and cooked to perfection.
