Scottish farmers are known the world over for their dedication to The Cause and their consistently high-standards. That’s why you’ll find that almost everything on our menu was either reared here, harvested here or was landed right here on the shores of Scotland. Our approach to cooking is typically no-nonsense too; we source the finest ingredients like 28-day hung Scotch beef and seafoods from local waters, add a little flair and influence from the Auld Alliance and simply let the food do the talking. Nice food and good value if you choose from the Market menu

We had one dinner at Bo'Vine during our stay at the Hilton Grosvenor. The dining room atmosphere is improved during the evenings thanks to candles and music, so our meal was enjoyable and I didn't feel that we were missing out by staying in the hotel. Good points: + Market menu fixed price offer... read more

When my boyfriend and I visited Glasgow in May we stayed in the West End so on our last night we booked in to Bo'Vine as it was within walking distance of our hotel. We ate off the special menu where you can choose 2 courses each and a bottle of wine for £40.00. The Black pudding with poached egg... More

Myself , my husband and another couple ate here last Friday evening and the food was excellent , we started with the scallops and had ribeye as the main. (We all had the same starters and main ) The service was great and the staff were very pleasant . We will return to eat here again.

We ate from the market menu and found everything we ordered was pretty decent. Steak and chips and sea trout with pea purée. The kids menu was very extensive and catered for all ages and tastes. The puddings were great too especially the ice cream sundaes. Only one criticism. The pea purée was more of a dry crust due to... More

I shared a chateaubriand with a colleague, the price was incredible for one of these (easily enough for 2 persons) and the taste??, just amazing. It was so tasty and so well cooked it almost ate itself! Without a doubt, quite simply, the best steak I have had in years!!

We visited on a Saturday and ordered from the pre theatre menu. My partner had the French onion soup starter, which was tasteless. Absolutely no flavour and no viscosity to it at all. The bread was also dumped inside the soup already. My black pudding starter was ok, but the black pudding at my local butcher is nicer. My partner's... More
