Description: Scottish farmers are known the world over for their dedication to The Cause and their consistently high-standards. That’s why you’ll find that almost everything on our menu was either reared here, harvested here or was landed right here on the shores of Scotland. Our approach to cooking is typically no-nonsense too; we source the finest ingredients like 28-day hung Scotch beef and seafoods from local waters, add a little flair and influence from the Auld Alliance and simply let the food do the talking. We think you’ll love the Bo’Vine difference!

I could say many things about Bo'vine from the lovely staff to the warm interior and the fantastic food. However I am not going to dwell on any of those lovely as they are, the best recommendation I can give and the only review that needs to be said is that both the fillet steak and the chateauxbriand are to... This is the most disappointing restaurant I have been too, especially after billing them billing themselves as the best place to have steak in Glasgow. Firstly we waited 15 mins for our drinks order to be taken, then a further 20 mins for the drinks to arrive, after having to go and ask for them. Ordered our starter and mains,... More

First of all try and find a pre-theartre menu in Glasgow that offers Sirloin steaks with no supplement. Further more find a steakhouse that does it. Steak delicious with a good selection of mains, starters and desserts. Bo' Vine is a little gem at the top of Byres Road which is a tastefully decorated restaurant with very friendly staff. The... My husband and I decided on Bo’Vine on Byers Road one night for dinner. It is part of the Hilton hotel but definitely sits above the usual hotel standard of restaurant. This is the second time we have been and both times we have dined on the market menu where it is £15 for two courses or £19 for three... More

I've came to Bovine quite a few times now and felt the need to leave a review. My family were in on Sunday for my mum's birthday and we all had a fantastic night. The staff are always attentive and really friendly, I have never been disappointed with the service. The food as always was delicious, the steaks were cooked... More

My starter of French onion soup was just average. I have tasted better. The sharing dessert platter was also disappointing. The only nice things on it were the creme brulee and rice pudding. Everything else was quite tasteless; including the sorbet, which just tasted like a lump of ice. However, the steak stole the show. My fillet steak was fabulous,... More

The food in this restaurant was truly delightful. Wonderful selection of fish, meat and poultry. Excellent presentation and perfect quantities. Each course was enjoyable. The pricing was reasonable given hither quality of food and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Both of the starters that we had were to en extent tasteless. There was one strong flavour which overpowered the compliment of the main dish. The main course was as to be expected, very good steak! The cheese board was again a bit of a let down, very small portion in comparison to other local restaurants. Over all the food... More
