Description: Scottish farmers are known the world over for their dedication to The Cause and their consistently high-standards. That’s why you’ll find that almost everything on our menu was either reared here, harvested here or was landed right here on the shores of Scotland. Our approach to cooking is typically no-nonsense too; we source the finest ingredients like 28-day hung Scotch beef and seafoods from local waters, add a little flair and influence from the Auld Alliance and simply let the food do the talking. We think you’ll love the Bo’Vine difference!

Party of seven celebrating 3 family birthdays. My son and I had the lobster and Chateaubriand , lobster dry and overcooked presentation sloppy for 88 pounds not good value and cheeseboard very measly for 8 pound. We definitely won't be back.

Pleasant meal here. Service excellent with very attentive friendly staff. Steaks all good quality, tasty and reasonably priced. Good wine list. It was particularly quiet on the night we were there and the atmosphere was a little subdued but I am sure with a few more table filled it would have been better. Restaurant also cold and consequently diners were... More

Fantastic steaks, cooked to perfection. The service was great, friendly but not overbearing. Great selection of wine too - was quite happy to see a lot of white wines available despite it being a steak restaurant! Overall, one of the best restaurants I've visited, and would definitely return.

We visited Bo Vine with another couple and had an very enjoyable meal. The atmosphere, food and service were all excellent and would highly recommend a visit. Service: The service in Bo Vine is great, I am not a fan of pretentious service so it was good that our waitress had a laugh with the group.

Had the market menu (2 courses 14.95 3 courses 18.95) We both had Stornoway Black Pudding Poached Hens Egg Pancetta and Red Wine Jus as starters and it was very good. The two sirloins were cooked to our liking but the caramelised onions at a £3 supplement were more like stewed onions and I am sure some of my triple... More

We went for an evening meal as my son was keen to try it out. There were 3 menus and all looked excellent. We all had beef but, despite the title of my review, you could get things other than beef. We ordered it medium but I felt it was on the rare side if medium. It was a tasty... More

I could say many things about Bo'vine from the lovely staff to the warm interior and the fantastic food. However I am not going to dwell on any of those lovely as they are, the best recommendation I can give and the only review that needs to be said is that both the fillet steak and the chateauxbriand are to... This is the most disappointing restaurant I have been too, especially after billing them billing themselves as the best place to have steak in Glasgow. Firstly we waited 15 mins for our drinks order to be taken, then a further 20 mins for the drinks to arrive, after having to go and ask for them. Ordered our starter and mains,... More

First of all try and find a pre-theartre menu in Glasgow that offers Sirloin steaks with no supplement. Further more find a steakhouse that does it. Steak delicious with a good selection of mains, starters and desserts. Bo' Vine is a little gem at the top of Byres Road which is a tastefully decorated restaurant with very friendly staff. The...
