Coffee and cake

What can be better than a smooth strong latte and a croissant while watching the world go by? Exactly. Does exactly what it says on the tin, and some. The sandwiches are fab, and the sister shop in the city centre is great too. Staff friendly and happy to recommend a delicious treat.

Piece by Piece, Glasgow is growing better and better. This is the original location for a city phenomenon that goes on growing! They describe themselves as "sandwich-mongers" (sellers of sandwiches), but this hides most of their value behind a veil of modesty. They don't just sell pre-packed putty; they make delicious sandwiches on the customer's choice of bread and sell... More

Surprisingly given you are heading ever closer to the West End of Glasgow, there aren't a huge amount of artisan sandwich places in that upper end of Argyle Street. Fortunately there is Piece: a massive selection of fillings (with generous portions), a variety of breads to choose from, and an obligatory hibster vibe that I find quite appealing. Well worth... Felt like I was at a rave whilst munching on my cheese and ham sandwich! It was a great sandwich though :) Please tone the music down.

I used to love this place until my experience today. The prices have gone up significantly. £4.95 for a sandwich! Come on...Coffee is also overpriced. Also for £4.95 my sandwich was not good. Previously the fillings are piled on with lots of sauce, it was scant today! I am aware that sometimes the sandwiches vary according to who makes them... More

As I work in Finneston I recently just tried here and can honestly say wonderful sandwiches. Bread so fresh as all ingredients. Only problem is choosing what to have. Service lovely

I love this place:) Such a cool vibe with the most amazing sandwiches and treats! I had the pastrami ciabatta and it was absolutely delicious. The hot smoked salmon sandwich is to die for too!!! Brilliant service, friendly staff with an eclectic style! A real treat for anyone! I'll be back!
