I often lunch here with friends and have had breakfast on occasion too. Food is always good when the main chef Hakim is on otherwise it can be hit or miss (hence 4 stars rather than 5 star rating). There is a specials board which is very good value for money (£9.95 for two courses) and is always very tasty.... More

My first visit to IKafe was a success. The all day Sunday breakfast option was tasty and quick, and more reasonably priced than other options. Friendly staff and outdoor seating.

Took the 15 minute round trip walk to iKafe on the recommendation of a colleague. Ordered a smoked ham/egg/cheese (on menu) sandwich. Got back to work and discovered I had been given smoked salmon/egg/cheese (not on menu). Following phone call to iKafe I walked backed AGAIN to swap for the correct sandwich. Sorry is an easy thing to say, but... More

I eat fairly regularly here and have never had a disappointing meal. The food is always wholesome and imaginative. It's also reasonably priced too. I would recommend any of the dishes on the menu and the Specials. The staff are warm and friendly too.

Have been visiting Ikafe for lunch for years and I have never had a bad experience in terms of the food. Menu has lots of choice, the salads in particular are very good, decent sized portion and their balsamic dressing is divine! The smoked haddock pasta is also a lovely choice. It is usually fairly busy and has a nice... More

My wife having abandoned me for the day, I contacted an old friend and arranged to meet for lunch. IKafe was suggested and agreed and we met up there. We both selected salads from the menu and both were delightfully fresh and tasty. With an open kitchen , your meal can be seen being prepared. Contrary to previous reviews our... More

awful place. food average and over priced. served us off cheesecake which nauseated one of our party. when we suggested they discounted all our deserts they were enraged, and their manager stated he was "pleased we were never coming back". staff were disinterested and rude. sticking to our pledge never to return.

I usually love this cafe but was recently disappointed with this last visit. Ordered soup and a pile up (salad and tuna bruschetta) - the soup was really dreadful - oily, watery, no flavour, very little veg - fair enough but it was described as chunky veg soup! My husbands sandwich was disappointing too although the coffees and the service... More

First visit to Ikafe for coffee. Reasonable standard, reasonable price. Staff were very busy standing about using their iphones oblivious to the customers. The three staff stood in a line behind the bar staring intently at their phones.Despite trying to catch their attention for the bill it took me at least 5min to request my bill. Needless to say I...
