Pretty much any possible cut of steak cooked however you like it. I had a medium-rare sirloin which was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. The mash I had with it was lovely. Our friends had the chateaubriand which I had a slice of - amazing! Visited on a Saturday night so was pretty busy but service was still... More

Went for the tomohawk menu and it didn't disappoint. Bottle of very nice wine and the biggest steak I've ever seen! Suitably full and feeling very satisfied. The service was outstanding, our waitress (Hannah) was very knowledgeable, friendly and quick. (P.s. Forgot to say have a great time in Oz Hannah!!)

Went here on the recommendations of a friend, and on some of the review s on here, have to say we were not overly impressed! Which was such a shame as we had been looking forward to it for a few weeks. I can, hand on heart say I have paid less for better steaks elsewhere. We also had to... More

Very elegant, menu was stylish and enticing, but pricy too. I especially liked the local ingredients used, and naming the farmers who reared the beef. The food is worth spending a bit extra.

We had a wonderful meal and probably one of the most tasty steaks ever. Staff are very attentive. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for. Would most certainly return!

The steaks = cooked to perfection The chips = Chunky, crisp on outside, fluffy inside The service = attentive and friendly The price = a wee bit more expensive but value for money as you pay for quality. Best book a table if possible as usually busy (says it all) In my opinion; The best steaks in Glasgow

We travelled into Glasgow on the day of the Commonwealth Games medal winners procession, and feeling hungry, dropped into the Butchershop for a late lunch. Getting a table at the window allowed us to watch the events, whilst enjoying starters of smoked salmon, and soup of the day. Bottle of Australian Shiraz and a bottle of chilled tap water to... More

Number one for a steak in Glasgow, and possibly in all Scotland. First quality meat, perfectly cooked to your liking. Coming from the Basque Country it is not easy to exceed our expectations, but it did. Will be back soon!
