"Never A Disappointment"

This was our third visit to the Butchershop, and again it didn't fail to deliver. When I made the reservation I had asked if we could have a "roomy" table (as I can feel kind of closed in at times). On arrival we were shown to a great table with a window view, my request had been met and kindly... read more

Feel a little harsh giving 3 as I probably would give it another try. Just can't justify giving it a 4 due to the size (or lack of) the chateubriand. Add separate sides to that and its allot of money for not allot of food. We were in a group and at times felt maybe we overwhelmed the one member... More

We love Steak so our hopes were high for our visit to The Butchershop which, has a hard won reputation for quality and service. However, our experience surpassed all expectations. All aspects of our visit from our welcome, engagement with staff, our food and our care were truly exceptional. You need to eat here!

So I am meeting a business client here for a meal, I have recently heard the owner speak at a conference and his passion is infectious!!! The starter of a sharing board is classy, sophisticated and good value for money. The mains of rump steak and skinny fried is without doubt...... One of the best steaks I have ever had.... More

I'm a regular customer at The Butchershop, I do love this place. The food is cooked to perfection, I love steak and I always find the meat is always over cooked or dry but The Butchershop always cooks the meat to perfection! The only downside to this place is that it is ALWAYS busy, even during the week, so if... More

We visited the restaurant on a busy Saturday night and were very impressed with the service. All of the staff we had interactions with were very friendly and provided excellent customer service. A special mention to our waiter Sean who was knowledgeable about the wine and explained the menu to us. We were recommended the porterhouse steak and were not... More

We went on a Groupon deal and were a bit disappointed . Small steaks and frozen chips . Still not cheap even with the deal and poor quality food .
