Thought service was a bit slow but pleasant. Steaks were good but not warm enough. Feel it was slightly overpriced, as were drinks.

I went here after reading rave reviews on trip advisor, and initial impressions were good, the staff were attentive and the menu was good. We went for the £7 per 100g steak and it was a bit of a monster at 1.5kg, which is where thd problem is. Although i was asked how we wanted the steak done and asked... More

Our meal was absolutely amazing. From start to finish you cannot fault the service or the food. You are greeted by a very friendly helpful waiter/waitress. Who will help you choose your meal if you desire and give recommendations. This is our second visit and we both had the shared platter which is to die for. Followed by the chateaubriand... More

Have been a few times in the past, always very busy but this doesn't not compromise service! Went for dinner on 9th May for my wedding anniversary! It was again rather busy offered drink at the bar in which I got myself a Parma Violet cocktail which was amazing.. only a short wait until our table was ready. Great meal... More

Visited several times. Nice decor and friendly atmosphere; excellent food, but would like to pay a little less, all things considered; well-situated for moving onto other West End destinations. One thing I didn't like was one of the managers/supervisors. On a couple of occasions I've seen the same guy being very friendly to customers (nothing less than one would expect),... More

A good atmosphere, excellent friendly staff and, of course, as we expected beautifully cooked steak. I really enjoyed my rib-eye but the hand cut chunky chips were the best I have ever tasted.

The Butchershop is easily my favourite steak restaurant. From steak tartare to juicy fillets the meat is top quality and excellently prepared. Nice desserts too, if you have any room left. Highly recommended.

First visit to this restaurant, Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy, staff were friendly, place was clean. Our waiter was helpful, but we felt somewhat overly attentive. Steaks were average, I asked for 'rare' and got 'medium'. Overall we were a bit disappointed with our experience. We felt that £70 for 2 steaks was not particularly good value.
