I absolutely LOVE The Butchershop and thought it would be the perfect place to have a family meal to celebrate my Mum's 50th birthday and also as a farewell meal for myself before I move abroad to work. We chose to have the pre-theatre menu. I've only ordered from the a la carte menu before but the pre-theatre menu is... More

Have visited this place 3 times now and had a great meal every time. The steaks are brilliant and cooked exactly how you like it. The staff are friendly and the one occasion I had to return my steak it was done without fuss and returned to me exaqctly how I'd like it. Would definitely go back here, whenever through... More

Was the the best steak in Glasgow? I don't know but doubt this is the case. Was the experience worth the price? No. I've had much better steaks. Anyone who has enjoyed a Victoria's Fillet from the Outback Steakhouse chain will agree with me. The meal was good but the prices were high. Very craftily they don't do a large... More

We went as a party of four and we're all delighted with our meals and the high standard of service we received. All staff were friendly and courteous. It is a little dark which made it difficult to read the menu and a little pricey, but fantastic for a special occasion.

Came here with hubby on 9 August and it was just perfect. My steak tartare was just exquisite whilst hubby's black pudding scotch egg was just delicious. We both had steaks. Talk about meat melting in your mouth. Absolutely heaven. Be sure to try the glazed carrot. Love the wee skillet. We didn't have room for anything else but quite... More

Visited on a Thursday early evening without reservation, seated no problem, did start to get busier when we left about 6.30.. The staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable about all the food, we both had a fab meal, quite expensive but well worth it as a treat..
