Went on Friday night had the nice window seat with view of the park, waiter very attentive, both my wife and i had the fillet steaks, melt in your mouth and absolutely huge. Best i've had anywhere. And decent enough value when you consider you get chips/mash and your choice of sauce inclusive in the price of the steak unlike... More

This was the third time I've been and still I've yet to be disappointed! Incredible service and delicious food! So, my brother and I, we ordered the chateaubriand to share and the meat was extremely tender and just melted in our mouths. While my Sister ordered steak and chips and she had expressed to us that her meal was delicious... More

We visited here as a birthday treat for me, the prices seem way over the top. I travel quite a lot with work and rarely see prices like this for a bit of steak. I opted for the King scallops as a starter and at £10.95 for 3 small (not king) scallops this was not good value for money. my... More

And I had to shell the buggers myself! Overall food was nothing to rave about, small potions. Atmosphere was good and service was great. I had the Chocolate Pave for desert which was good but came with popcorn with some sort of toffee gel that was really unpleasant

Our second visit did not disappoint. Enjoyed a wonderful steak meal on our first wedding anniversary last weekend. Steaks melted in our mouths. Staff friendly and efficient. A special restaurant, look forward to our next visit

Taking advantage of a Christmas Gift voucher, we turned up for a late lunch without a booking. Got seated immediately. Decided to order from the Lunch/ Pretheatre menu. Carrot and parsnip soup to start with Bread and butter and Meatballs with toasted garlic bread for starters. Both were delicious. We both ordered rump steak. I got fries with mine and... More

I visited Butchershop for the first time in a few years in February and it has somehow improved even more from the last time. Attending with 7 colleagues, all 8 of our steaks were perfectly cooked to order, very tender and had amazing flavour. The Côte de boeuf was unbelievable - as good as anything I've tasted in France. The... More
