An excellent place for hungry people, steaks excellent, food well prepared and presented, good comfortable ambience, eat drink and be merry. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Visited here fr daughters graduation meal ....place was busy but didnt feel so because of attentiveness of staff ....we went fr lunch pre theatre menu instead of graduation menu ..feel places bump up prices for special occassions and basically menu same apart frm glass of prosecco ....starters excellent and steaks done to perfection ...my daughter likes it rare to medium... After a long day of walking around the Kelvingrove Museum, we decided to stop at The Butchershop for some dinner and what a nice surprise it was! The steak was cooked perfectly to order and the atmosphere was lovely! A little pricey but I would eat here again in a heartbeat!

Had lunch here as one of our colleagues was leaving. There was a number of us, the staff were great, food was amazing and the portions generous. Would highly recommend.

Our last night in Glasgow and we still hadn't had Angus steak...so I jumped on trip advisor for any steakhouse suggestions, this was our first choice after reading the reviews and it did not disappoint. this is a super restaurant great food terrific staff and fabulous atmosphere.The steaks are to die for and the choices of Malbec available excellent.This is the place to be seen in the WestEnd of Glasgow.Although it is quite expensive it is worth it for a treat.
