Tomahawk steak

Thought it was quite expensive all in but thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back. I ordered the tomahawk sharing steak. Would definitely recommend.

Had a very nice dinner with my husband on our first visit to this lovely restaurant. The staff were very helpful and really friendly, a real credit to the owner of this establishment. Food was delicious, and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere with candles on the tables even on an early afternoon booking. Will certainly be returning in the... More

I'd been wanting to visit The Butchershop for a few months, and a trip back to Glasgow was the perfect excuse to treat my family to a Sunday lunch. Location is excellent - at the corner of Sauchiehall Street and Kelvin Way although parking was a pain. Nothing new there for this part of Glasgow, but worth remembering if you're... More

My partner and I visited the restaurant between Christmas and New Year and the food was fantastic. The only slight issue I had was I placed an order of Tiger Prawns, which I was then told they were sold out, only to be brought to the table which was a little confusing as appears a bit of mis-communication between kitchen... Having enjoyed a beautiful steak dinner previously here, i decided to treat my partner to a birthday steak here once more. The service and food were top notch as per (though you do pay a premium for this!!) 2 T-bone steaks cooked to perfection with sides such as mac and cheese, onion rings and the sweetcorn slaw were just the... This restaurant is very good but didn't blow me away. Food is fresh and tasty but not exceptional and not cheap ! Service overall very friendly but tad slow in terms of being offered drinks. Sat with no drinks for while and in end had to ask for them, ditto the bill. Never offered dessert or coffees which always frustrates... More

Went for the first time to this restaurant after friends of mine spoke very highly of this place and they were not wrong. Not just the steaks but the quality of the food was very good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The only negative point I will say but this would not put me off was the position... More

Been here a few times and never been let down. The chateaubriand is simply amazing, so tender and juicy! Plentiful portion of chips and a lovely pepper sauce. Had creamed spinach and mushrooms which were delicious. A lovely wine list as well, chose a nice Argentinian red to wash the steak down with. They also do a mean mint gin... More

Went on Tuesday. You'd be mad not to take up the Tuesday offer if you're in Glasgow. Great steak, nice atmosphere and the staff couldn't do enough.

Exactly what you would expect. Well cooked steaks, with a good range to choose from on the menu. Lovely bar area with excellent cocktails for pre/post dinner drinks. Love the decor and atmosphere in that area, however, lacks the same atmosphere in the restaurant to the left of the bar. Always an enjoyable dining experience.
