After a morning touring this impressive estate we popped into the cafe for lunch. Very friendly staff, very nice menu and lovely surroundings. The meals were simple, fresh and tasty. Would definitely come back to visit.

We were looking for somewhere to have a wedding so we thought we would try the food first, the place itself has a very clean, friendly atmosphere, for lunch and we went for the chicken and the beef, the portion size is a little smaller, but in my view, is just about right, the food makes it all worth while,... Staying in Pollokshields for the Commonwealth Games House for an Art Lover was not too far and conveniently on the way to Ibrox. I have seen some of the other Rennie M sights of the City but I was still impressed by this place and will return in future for a tour. The Shop is very good and as Trip... More

It's always a pleasure to eat at House For An Art Lover cafe. We generally have the set lunch, which is excellent value and choice. Although there is also an a La Carte menu. Set in lovely surroundings. Staff are very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. Feels more like quality hotel service than cafe/restaurant! Would definitely recommend!

We had lunch after a tour of the house. Delicious! All four of us enjoyed our meals. Would recommend this restaurant.

The food at art lovers café at House for an Art lover could not really be anything other than stylish and beautiful. It also tasted very nice. We had hoped to eat here a day earlier but had not booked as we had gone to New Lanark for the morning and so were unsure what time we would arrive. By... More

Our family lunched there before the Commonwealth Games rugby 7s at nearby Ibrox. We had reserved but knew they would be very busy so didn't know what to expect! Reception was mayhem but we were well received by very professional & attentive staff. Table service was a little slow. But well worth the wait because that will change by the... More

I recently had lunch at House for an Art Lover with family, but also enjoyed a friends wedding here last year - both very nice! The building itself is lovely, with beautiful examples of Mackintosh design throughout - the bright white music room is stunning! The walled garden is nice for a short stroll, but Bellahouston park itself is also... More

Popped into this venue last week for a quick lunch. I must say I was surprised. The food is simply divine. I had scallops, black pudding with salad etc. It was really really good. Pudding were fabulous also. It really is such a great place to sit & chill. Will definitely return & would certainly recommend.
