Steak deal

Went for steak deal with itison. The steak was great and the chips with skin was the same. My husband had the haggis bites for starter which is reasonable price and he said it was delicious. I had the sticky toffee pudding and enjoyed. Will definitely be back.

Went here yesterday for some drinks with friends, after being in for a few hours and spending a lot of money we were informed that our table was needed in "20 minutes" as it was reserved. Came for a visit with friends for birthday lunch. Welcome was first class and taken straight to table, served some lovely crusty bread with olives and dipping oil and drinks order was taken. We ordered some Mohitos which were delicious. Starters of haggis needs and tatties and pate were all very nice. Mains,, smoked haddock and ham pie, lemon chicken... More

Went here for my birthday with my husband and it was so disappointing. Starters were good,we ordered haggis neeps and tatties for starters and it was lovely, the sauce was a little bit rich for me but that is only my opinion, we did still enjoy it. The main meal was just awful. I ordered coley fish and chips and... More

This is a nice cosy restaurant serving a variety of traditional food. Good sized portions which were nicely presented and good value for money. Excellent service. Will definitely return.

I arrived at 12.05 on a beautiful day and asked to have a drink outside. First guest arrived at 12.15 and we asked for another glass of wine. It was nearly 12.25 when it arrived by which time the other two guests appeared. We moved inside to our table at 12.35 and ordered a bottle of the house red wine... More
