Delicious fresh food

Visited Ingram Wynd today for set lunch with voucher offer. My companion had just been diagnosed with intolerance food issues. The service given by Wacky(?) could not have been better he checked ingredients of every meal and offered a suitable starter not on the menu which my companion enjoyed we both had the salmon which was excellent . Would definitely... More

My friend and I visited here for the first time recently and opted for the 2 course set meal. We both had the soup of the day which was very mediocre and lukewarm served with bread ,this was followed by the beer battered white fish with hand cut chips and peas. When the main course arrived we were very surprised... More

Had the set lunch. Bruschetta followed by salmon, my friend had chicken liver pate and fish and chips. The bruschetta was perfectly seasoned. Gorgeous ripe tomatoes delicately flavoured with garlic, and served on a bed of rocket - delightful! My salmon was cooked perfectly and came with vegetables and a fresh, home-made green pesto sauce. We loved the Dickensian setting,... More

We have visited this restaurant a number of times now and have never been disappointed. The food and service are consistently good. We've been lucky enough to buy a number of "good deal" vouchers which makes a meal for two very reasonably priced, we always have a bottle of wine and that too is good value. On this latest visit... I have visited this restaurant several times now and I am never disappointed with the food or the service. First class! Portion sizes are great and the wine is pretty good too. Good range of foods to suit. The smoked haddock kedgeree with scallops has to be my all time favourite though

To start we had the haggis this was a great tasting haggis served in a large portion size. They obviously have the Haggis starter waiting to go as was on our table in less than 5 minutes from ordering. Having received our starter so fast we had hoped to have a slight break before the main course but this was... More

I ate in the Ingram Wynd today. My son and I selected from the Lunch menu - 2 courses for £10.95. The mushroom soup was wonderful full of flavour and a perfect consistency. My son had the mussels and the plate was brim full. He said the sauce was delicious. The main course choice was varied and included fish, meat... More

4 couples decided to try out Ingram Wynd as a starting point for a night out in Glasgow, we were welcomed in from the typical Scottish drizzle with Friendly faces asking to take our very Wet coats. We were given menus and and the drink order was placed, starters varied from Soup to mussels to fish cakes with chilli sauce... More

Myself and my wife have eaten at Ingram Wynd several times now. Is a Scottish feel to the menu and always cooked to perfection. Really nice atmosphere, is cosy and friendly with good staff. Always feel that I get great value for money when I leave, never disappointed.
