Ive been to a Teppanyaki restaurant years ago (before children) and loved it then. I dont know why I havent been back to one since. Anyway, thought we would take the children to lunch on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be back, but I'll probably go with a group of friends next time at night time too.... A lively, fun atmosphere with great entertainment by the chefs showing off their skills. The food is prepped and cooked in front of you, tastes great and fresh. We were in a group of 11 and I would say this is the best way to enjoy a visit, if you're after a quiet romantic evening, this maybe won't be the... More

I loved it. Staff were friendly. Chef was funny and talkative. Food was good. Even though there were 11 other couples at the table it wasn't as though you hD to talk to other people was still quite intimate. I would recommend going at least once.

We booked this back in December as part of the voucher that was purchased for a christmas present. We arrived about 15 minutes early on Friday night and we were pleasantly greeted by a member of staff and we were seated in the bar where we got a round of drinks in. Shortly after we were shown to our tepenyaki... More

We decided to book Sapporo on the strength of a recommendation from my son and his girlfriend, who had been just the weekend before. Our table was booked for Saturday 21st at 8.15pm, we arrived at 8.10pm. To be honest we didn't know what it would be like sitting with 18 other folk we didn't know, so the quick drink... More

We booked here for lunch on Saturday and arrived to an empty restaurant. The girl that greeted us was friendly and explained the menu well, as it was our first visit. To be honest at this point I was thinking it was going to be a bit rubbish as it was just us in the whole place! But then some... More

Comedy gag tomato sauce, egg balancing, wee bits of chip sailing through the air and bouncing off your nose. If these things sound appealing, Sapporo Teppanyaki is your place. The menu is expansive and expensive, and most dishes will be prepared directly in front of you by a smiling chef with the aforementioned fake tomato sauce and serious spatula juggling... More
